Dartmoor also boasts a variety of cycle routes, both on and off road, where you can make it as challenging as you like. You can also enjoy horse-riding, climbing, letterboxing, geocaching or kayaking.

Further afield is Plymouth, where you can visit the National Marine Aquarium which is ideal for children and adults, as well as the Eden Project, which is a fabulous day out.

Take a walk along the South West Coast Path which runs along the entire length of the Jurassic Coast and offers walkers stunning scenery, with a bird’s eye view of many coastal features. From the coast path you can experience the drama of sheer cliff faces, take in the wonderful towns of Beer, the ‘picture postcard’ fishing village, or Budleigh Salterton.
