Our family enjoyed a wonderful stay in Red Bay. The cottage was the perfect size, with water access and a lovely view of the sunsets! We will definitely come back again and highly recommend it!

Property was everything our family needed. Kitchen was very good. Comfortable sitting room & large dining room. Fantastic access to the beach & walking trails etc. Would definitely go back to this cottage again & would recommend this to other families.

Simply spectacular property with breathtaking beach beach front.

Our stay was amazing. Massive kitchen with everything you could need and large gas BBQ. Sandy beach is at the foot of the property with crystal clear water. The views are breathtaking.

Beautiful location

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The cottage and bunkie are so cute and well maintained, the view is spectacular and there are lots of places within driving distance to see many nature attractions. Would return. The owner was great and very helpful

March Break Escape

Great property! Spacious but cozy with a beautiful fireplace in the living room. Extremely well appointed, from the kitchen to entertainment, everything we needed was there. Awesome location with an amazing view out over the bay. Wonderful place to explore on foot. Would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic!

This cottage is absolutely fantastic. We stayed during a rainy October weekend, and despite the weather, the private beach access and view was just amazing. The property is clean, spacious, and exactly as pictured. Will definitely book again!

Short winter retreat

Great place for recharge and rest. We visited the area during the snowy and very cold days. We were able to do some snowshoeing, site seeing but most of our time was spent relaxing on the couch, by the fireplace relaxing. Hope to be back

Beautiful cottage

Stayed here for five days with my husband and two dogs. Cottage was stocked with everything you would need, and great location! Loved the that laundry room- has multiple doors. Was the perfect place to keep the dogs when we weren’t at the beach. Helped keep the sand and mess down. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Red Bay

The home was clean and even had the snow removed around for parking and walking. They are located in a dark sky zone and we were hoping for great views of the sky. It is definitely a great location for that even if it didn't work out for us. The neighborhood seemed safe. Check-in was a breeze. The owner communicated all necessary information. Our family enjoyed our stay.

Better than the pictures , the only inconvenience was the WiFi on and off all the time ! Could not watch movies or soccer games , we were using our own accounts from Bell5 and Netflix but kept getting disconnected Other than that loved the place !

Blissful nostalgia

I booked this property for my mother, grandmother, aunt and their friends as we use to spend every summer in Sauble until my grandma no longer wanted to deal with the maintenance and up keep she ended up selling a few years back. So I booked this property to give them back a little piece of what they have been missing. This property does not miss the mark on anything. The whole property is so well thought out, with so much care and love that has gone into making it feel like home. Everything is clean and organized and labeled to ensure a perfect stay leaving no questions unanswered. There is an abundance of space filled with quality furnishings and appliances. The communication with Jay, the property owner was top tier from the time we booked which was months in advance, to my multiple random questions and messages in the weeks leading up to the stay and even after check out he reached out to check in and make sure the stay was nothing but exceptional and had enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be booking again! The only downfall is if you run hot you might get a bit warm as there is not an A/C unit but there are plenty of fans and there really is no need to be inside on a hot day when there is so much to do outside! This getaway was the perfect dose of nostalgia and tranquility and I would definitely recommend a stay here. I know we will be back as reoccurring guests! Thank you Jay, for allowing others to enjoy this beautiful property!

Winter getaway

We enjoyed our stay in Red Bay. The cottage was very clean, spacious & location was great for going for winter walks & snowshoeing. When we did have a small issue with the heating system, the owner & property manager were very prompt in getting back to us & the issue was resolved immediately. I would definitely recommend staying at this cottage.

Beautiful Cottage

We had a wonderful stay. Able to arrange to check-in early and drop off our belongings. After hiking we had issues with the lock. But we were able to easily reach out for assistance and was helped immediately. Excellent service. We really like how it's close to a lot of trails and parks, kayaking at your doorstep, gas fireplace and the clean & cozy cottage. We will definitely come back. Thank you

Winter retreat

We were having kitchen renovations done at our house in the area and this Red Bay cottage fit our needs very well. The place was comfortable and clean with a quiet neighborhood

Amazing beach house

We spent a few days in early December and we really enjoyed our stay. We cozied up by the fireplace and enjoyed a big snowfall. The place was so big, could easily fit 8 adults there. We would love to come back!

So much stress.

I believe that Canada Stays, VRBO horribly mismanaged my booking resulting in my being locked out of the rental until I payed the owner directly. I am not sure if there is one person to blame as I was in continued contact with the owner from the day I booked in March up to days before my stay. I ended up having to pay twice and get a refund after my stay. My husband is terminally ill and this was not the vacation we were looking for. Although I received a refund of my second payment, I never received an apology from Canada Stays or VRBO. Horrible and shame on your company.

Yup...100% agree that VRBO completely messed up your stay, but unfortunately, you accidentally gave me the poor review, not them (but I fought hard for them to issue you your refund which I'm glad to hear they sent to you).

Exactly as advertised

Very clean, spacious and thoughtful touches, such as binoculars and board games. Everything we needed in the kitchen too. Well-insulated, so no cold drafts (it was just below zero during our stay). We loved the spectacular sunsets reflected off ice-covered Lake Huron. Thanks Jay for the perfect family getaway. Sharon
