Spavinaw House

This is a cute, funky cottage with everything you need to have a comfortable stay. It has a large backyard that could be real jewel if it was cleaned up and better taken care of. Close to Spavinaw Lake and Creek but a very sketchy neighborhood.

We're glad to hear you had a comfortable stay but wanted to address some of your concerns. -We appreciate your feedback on the backyard. We're always working on improving this space but lately, the recent storms and rain have hindered this. The patio furniture we try to keep clean but mother nature has a mind of her own. Once the weather improves, we are planning on a new roof for the shed. -Providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all of our guests is important to us and we're sorry to hear that you did not feel this way in the neighborhood. We can say that we've had no issues with break-ins or theft and we have kind neighbors that look out for our property as well. Thank you for your insight, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again soon."

Needs a new bed!

We had a nice stay here. Looking for an intimate getaway and found it. We were greeted with 6 wasps inside the house. The bed was really small and broken down. I did have to sleep on the sofa which I didn't mind. The area is secluded and the lake nearby was really nice, some of the amenities need a little attention.

Wonderful place to get away.

The property was just right for us. The backyard is lovely overlooking the water where the geese were hanging out. Dana, our host, went above and beyond with helpful tips about things to see and do in the area. Very clean, great location! We were able to take our motorcycle and explore Oklahoma and Arkansas.

Spavinaw is beautiful! The cottage was cozy and very functional. The patio was great and the yard was beautiful. The creek was in walking distance and very relaxing. Dana was amazing, awesome and helpful throughout our visit. We will book again soon.

Serene retreat with gorgeous views!

This is an serene retreat, offering quiet seclusion and restful sleep. The cottage is very well looked after, spacious, beautifully decorated, and completely comfortable. The large backyard overlooks the creek of Spavinaw and it’s so relaxing to be there with breathtaking views of the surrounding hills. The fire pit in the back overlooking the creek was my favorite spot for morning coffee. It exceeded my expectations, this is a five-star spot. I highly recommend!!!!
