Our beachfront villa with garden views is ideal for a family vacation, a gathering with the old friends group, or a romantic getaway with your soulmate. There’s a tranquility here that’s hard to find. This isn’t your average tourist attraction. Villa’s Edge Great Harbour will make you feel like you are one of the few on your own island.

Inside

Let’s start from the inside and work our way out, shall we? The kitchen and its bar top is perfect for meal prep of the day’s catch. The living room features modern furniture, a large sofa with a double sofa bed, and beautiful, natural light that makes it the ultimate cozy hangout spot to unwind after a long day in the sun. Speaking of cozy, take the spiral staircase to the upstairs loft which offers another bed for kids or guests. The Master Bedroom and bath is befitting a King and Queen with an attached outdoor terrace and another loft that is connected with the first one that overlooks the living room. This loft has two additional twin beds to sleep additional guests. If you are unable to disconnect from the outside world, the room offers a phone and wi-fi, so you can share photos of your oasis with family and friends.

Outside

The Beach Villas on Great Harbour Cay are just steps away from the beach. Step outside to your private terrace with garden views, turn the corner and you’ll find yourself steps from the ocean and the turquoise blue Bahamian waters. You’ll have access to towels and beach chairs in the villa, so all you need to do is sit on the beach under the tiki with a cold beverage for the entire day or take part in fishing and water sports, if that’s your brand of beer. Our unit also includes access to two adult bikes (one with a basket!) to make it easier to explore the island or pick up some groceries.

Boating & Fishing
Villa's Edge is on the beach side of the island but Great Harbour Cay Marina is just a few minutes drive or bike from the Beach Villas. Great Harbour also provides some of the best fishing in the world and is often referred to as "The Fish Bowl of the Bahamas".

Beyond

The island offers miles and miles of roaming territory for those wilderness explorers. For those adventurous boaters, Hoffmann’s Cay has a world wonder located deep in the jungles - a massive Blue Hole that’s perfect for snorkeling, paddle boarding and looking into the deep dark underwater abyss. Villa’s Edge Great Harbour is a five minute walk on the beach from the world famous Beach Club, which was a haven for The Rat Pack in the 60s and has now become an island staple of great food and drinks. If you want a getaway to mingle with locals and other visitors, The Beach Club is the place to be. Other nearby restaurants include Coolie Mae’s Sunset By The Sea, Pool Bar, and CarrieEarl Restaurant.

Great Harbour Cay is a hidden gem in the Bahamas and while there are several grocery stores and liquors stores with plenty of Kalik Gold beer, the island favorite, you may want to bring some items from home or from Nassau before your arrival.

In terms of getting to the island, there are a few ways to do that. First, is to fly to Nassau and take one of the daily flights from Nassau to Great Harbour Cay (GHC) on LeAir. The second option is to take a scheduled flight from Ft. Lauderdale, FL. There are two companies that fly out of Ft. Lauderdale that have scheduled flights several times a week to GHC. They are Tropic Ocean Air and Makers Air. The third option would be to charter a flight, we can recommend some companies that fly out of the South Florida area into GHC. If you have a big enough group flying together, the cost may be similar to, or less expensive than, the scheduled flight costs. The airport on the island is a short, 5-minute drive from Villa’s Edge Great Harbour. Some visitors also choose to come by boat to the island.
