Villa A en Cannon Villas es atendida con cariño por su exigente propietario de más de 30 años. Es el orgullo y la alegría de la familia y estamos felices de compartirlo con usted. Está ubicado justo en una de las playas naturalmente ocultas de Jamaica, en un complejo privado compartido con otras 5 villas familiares. Rosalie, tu propia ama de llaves / cocinera, se encargará de ti y el cuidador Conroy es muy atento y servicial. La cabaña A es un tesoro raro ubicado a una corta distancia a pie de la cascada aislada Laughing Waters (presentada en varias películas de James Bond) y a 10 minutos en auto de la ciudad de Ocho Ríos y ofrece fácil acceso a la mayoría de las principales atracciones de Jamaica. Las tres habitaciones con aire acondicionado y baño privado están decoradas con buen gusto, al igual que toda la villa para crear una sensación de hogar con calidad. Nuestro libro de visitas está lleno de sinceros mensajes de agradecimiento de los huéspedes que han disfrutado de algunas de sus vacaciones más memorables allí. This was a long awaited family getaway visiting Jamaica. The Villa exceeded our expectations and provided a serene and idyllic location to enjoy the beach and all of the surrounding activities that are close by. From the moment you enter the property and are greeted by the security staff, grounds caretaker and Villa staff you knew that you were going to enjoy your stay with warmth and experience something special. Marlene prepared for us many wonderful meals that are well known throughout the island and we had ackee and salfish the Jamaican National Dish! What a treat!!! She and Tracy also made sure that all of our needs were met for a comfortable and memorable stay. Highly recommend and I can see why this Villa with its location on a pristine beach, close to all of the well know attractions, and great customer service and experience is a favorite for its past guests…we will definitely return if future travel plans takes us back to Ocho Rios.

Beautiful, Peaceful, and Excellent Service!

You enter Old Fort Bay through a security gate that is manned 100% of the time. The Cannon Villas have 6 Villas and you enter another gate to get into the property. Villa A is right in the beach and has the best view by far. Property is steps away from the beach. They have 2 loungers and the property has others you can use. Great to have an option to view the water without having to be on the beach. Water is gorgeous blues. It’s in Old Fort Bay. End to end the bay is about 1/4 mile walk on the beach. Really nice snorkeling less than 100 yards off the beach. Bring your snorkel gear. House is older but they have invested in the property with remodels. This is not the 4 Seasons but very nice. Definitely more of a beach villa feel. 3 rooms all with air conditioning. Main living space and kitchen are not air conditioned so you keep the doors and windows open to create a draft. Service, location, and security is really what makes this a 10/10. You will have a housekeeper(s) Marlene and Tracey. They make up your room, clean and cook for you each day. They arrive at 9 AM and stay until around 5-530. They are a couple of groundskeepers Jermaine and Favion there during the day taking care of the grounds of the 6 properties. At night 6 PM to 6 AM there is a security guard BooDoo (sp?). If you want Marlene to cook you will work with her on meals. We wanted to experience Jamaican cuisine so we went for fish, goat curry, oxtail and beans, and chicken. Take a taxi to get food.

Cannon Villas, Villa A

Great location, right on the beach. Staff and food were excellent. We chose to eat local dishes. Marlene is an excellent cook and took care of all our needs. Difficult to pick a favourite food - oxtail, brown stew fish, ackee and salt fish, mackerel run down, jerk chicken, rice and peas, plantain, bammy, breadfruit, salt fish fritters, etc. Everyone had a great time. Would definitely return again.

The perfect family getaway

This villa was the perfect peaceful and fun getaway for my family. We stayed here with 2 kids (3 & 5) and 3 adults and it was the perfect amount of space for us. Marlene did a great job making sure we were comfortable, well-fed (she’s an amazing cook), and that the villa was always tidy and comfortable. Matthew was the perfect host. We traveled during a time of extreme uncertainty due to the hurricane and Matthew was extremely communicative, understanding, flexible and accommodating.

9 day vacation

Just spend nine incredible days with my wife and two grown sons at this beach side villa in Mammee Bay, just outside of Ocho Rios. Marlene, our housekeeper, was a boss who attended to our every need with her culinary skills and great hospitality and Anthony, our groundsman, was always available to chop coconuts, man the grill and provide any other necessary assistance. For adults or a family with kids, this villa cannot be beat for location and service. We've been coming here for years and cannot wait to return. I highly recommend it to anyone.

IDYLLIC BEACH VILLA

As my title states,this was the most peaceful ,picturesque piece of heaven.We were 4 sisters of mature age truly enjoying every bit of RELAXATION in the most idyllic spot. The cottage is much more than I expected,and too good to be true. We loved the private beach steps from the door,the quiet uninterrupted joy and the splendor of the grounds . Marlen took care of us,making us feel like family.She cooked some of our favorite Jamaican dishes,serving it up with a smile and so much love. Anthony the grounds keeper cut our coconuts and brought us mangoes he picked on the property.He was such a pleasure and very helpful to us. Cannon Villa A is definitely my yearly vacation spot. Love,love it.

Relaxing beautiful bubble by the beach

We had a wonderful relaxing time at the villa. Marlene & Tracy were lovely and kind enough to make us breakfast each day, then we relaxed on the beach, and even did some snorkeling. The location is fantastic - just on the edge of Ochi but the private beach makes it feel like a small oasis away from the hype. Scotchies for delicious jerk is across the street, and Dunns River Falls is around the corner for a little adventure. It was exactly what we needed, thank you!

Relaxation at Cannon Villa

What a great week my cousin and I spent at this great beach front bungalow. Mrs Marlene our chef and property manager was the highlight of the trip she helped us with getting food for the week and having great meals through the days. Property is gated and secure, grounds are kept clean on a daily basis. Definitely would love to stay again.

This villa is literally on the beach. Angela was great and the entire stay was flawless. The villa should provide basic kitchen needs (seasonings, oil etc) rather than having guests who are staying a short while having to purchase these items.

The cottage is well kept and comfortable. Out of the cottages this is the best one. Beautiful beach and carribean ocean right in front of you. The best gem to this property is Ms. Marlene. She is the cook, housekeeper, mother, friend. I love her and can't wait to get back to her.

Excellence All Around/ The Place to Be

Perfect location, indeed a hidden paradise, unadulterated bliss! From the moment we entered the property until we left, the service and accommodation were unsurpassed. Pristine beachfront at the reach of your hand. Breathtaking sunrise and glowing sunsets. The accommodations were excellent and it felt like my very own home on steroids! I had no desire to return to Texas, but I must, in order to repeat this trip next year. Kudos to the owners, housekeeper/ cook, gardener and the beach crew. There was never too much to ask. Relaxing Stay

Communication from the owner, Matthew, was fantastic from my first inquiry. We were met at the property by Marlene and she had dinner waiting for us as we arrived late. I did contact her a few days prior to request a prepared meal. Marlene's cooking is better than any restaurant! She will request a shopping list/meals requested and she will also make suggestions! Every meal she prepared what fantastic. She was a joy to have in the house! Be sure to ask her how to get to Laughing Water waterfalls, she will instruct you to ask one of the beach employees to escort you during the short walk there! The property was beautiful and the everyone was friendly. Don't forget your bug spray! My sister and I traveled to Jamaica for an ancestral visit and we could have not picked a better Jamaica home than Cannon Villas A. Thank you and we hope to be back sooner rather than later!

Beachfront Villa with breathtaking views and outstanding cuisine

We loved resting and waking to the sounds of the beach. The view from the Villa is breathtaking. Within steps you’re on a private beach and soaking up the sun. The Villa itself is beautiful with vibrant colors inside and out. An extraordinary part of the experience was the chef, Ms. Marlene who cooked exquisite and authentic Jamaican home cooked meals. Ms. Marlene was the highlight of our trip. Matthew, the property owner, is incredibly responsive from the moment you book to to arrival, making sure things are smooth. We can’t wait to return soon! Sweet spot on the beach

This villa is the perfect place if you want to enjoy this private beach, homemade meals, hear the ocean at night and venture out to Ocho Rios for patties or jerk chicken. We stayed here on a “girls” trip and felt very safe and comfortable in the house.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We first bought this Villa along with another family so that we could all have a place to spend weekends and holidays. As a young couple with a mortgage, we couldn't afford it on our own but we knew it was one of the best beach locations in Jamaica, and we knew it would never be cluttered with hotels because of the established residential and vacation home community around it. Some of our family's best memories were made at Cottage A. Bonfires on the beach, water skiing, fishing trips ending with beach bar-b-ques, walks over to the nearby Laughing Waters waterfall, and lots of laughs with great friends are some of the good times that spring to mind whenever we talk about Cannon. It was tough to buy it in the early days but buying tis villa was one of our best decisions

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The location is the biggest benefit. People from all over Jamaica and other Caribbean islands regularly refer to it as one of the loveliest spots they have been to. Many have been to larger, more modern, more salubrious villas but the location and quaint, simple but tasteful surroundings make Cannon hard to beat
