Perfect location

Fabulous clean and comfortable house. Lots of space and outdoor area and balconies. Brilliant location in the heart of Sydneys lively Darlinghurst. Comfortable beds!

Great Location but Property needs some TLC

Our whole family stayed at this property. The location is wonderful - walking distance to train/bus lines that connect you to downtown/beaches. There are yummy places to eat within walking distance. The property layout is very unique with 3 levels - each with a porch that overlook an indoor courtyard. That said we had 2 issues - #1 downstairs mattress was not acceptable - hard and worn, #2 we found multiple large spiders and cockroaches in the house. We appreciated our stay and would stay again if the owners would invest in new mattresses for the downstairs and treat the pests.

Inner city pad

The house in Darlinghurst is spacious and comfortable. It is in a very central location which made it easy to visit local sights and catch public transport to look further afar. Unfortunately it was quite noisy on Friday and Saturday night but that’s to be expected being so close to Oxford St. We had the use of a car but had to move it every two hours during the day due to parking restrictions which was a slight inconvenience. It would also have been nice to have a streaming service available and the tv remote control didn’t work. We asked to have it fixed but nobody was available on the weekend which was disappointing. Overall, a homely and pleasant place to stay with a couple of areas that could be improved upon.

spacious property in a great location

We appreciated the tasteful and considered decor of this spacious three level terrace in a wonderful position. Very close to the CBD, Hyde Park, Botanical Gardens, Art Gallery of NSW and a myriad of excellent restaurants and yet quiet with more pedestrian than car traffic passing by. There were a couple of small maintenance issues, such as a globe needing replacing in the bedroom but these were minor and it did not detract from our overall good impression. We would recommend this booking and return with no hesitation.

Sydney getaway

The property was in a great location walking distance from central Sydney. Decor and furnishings were beautiful, plenty of space for five adults. There were plenty of pots and pans, crockery, etc. Some minor quibbles: the mixer tap in the downstairs bathroom was loose; one of the dining chairs has a loose leg; there was no access to streaming services (no smart TV or ability to cast from our devices); no condiments were provided (i.e salt/pepper); two of the external window catches were broken in the dining room. Other than that, highly recommended.

Sensational property and awesome location. Would definitely stay here again and recommend.

My overall experience was fantastic. The only thing we did find is that one of the beds only had one sheet so we had to sleep on the mattress top and we couldn’t find a vacuum cleaner although it was listed in the instructions but apart from that everything was perfect

Your paying for location which is 10/10. The house itself was clean and roomy. Although minimal essential items left for a house which slept 6 people. Road works and house works being done in the house next door waking everyone up around 6am ... not want you want on holiday. Downstairs bedroom bed extremely uncomfortable
