Waratah Cottage - Halls Gap

Waratah Cottage est une spacieuse maison de 4 chambres dans les arbres au coeur des Grampians. Seuls 2. 5 kms du centre de Halls Gap. La plate-forme de divertissement arriĂšre, avec barbecue et rĂ©tractable ombre auvent, face au nord avec vue sur Grampians repĂšres Boronia crĂȘte et The Pinnacle. La maison est dans un dĂ©cor avec des visiteurs rĂ©guliers de la faune bushland unfenced.
Il dispose de 4 chambres, 2 avec lits doubles et 2 lits simples, et peut accueillir 8 dans le confort. Tous les draps et serviettes sont fournis. Le salon central a un feu de bois et inverser le cycle de la climatisation. La cuisine est entiÚrement équipée avec lave-vaisselle et 2 réfrigérateurs, un four pleine grandeur et un micro-ondes. Il y a 2 salles de bains dont 1 avec une baignoire spa. La maison est accessible en fauteuil roulant et dispose d'un grand parking extérieur.

Thank you so much... the location was perfect... it was a home away from home. We were able to enjoy our biannual trip away without partners or children. We are siblings and love coming to Halls Gap... it's our thing...

The property was exactly as described. Plenty of room, the bedrooms were all a decent size, the house was very clean, everything worked, and the wood burner was fantastic. The area is very quiet, no noise at night, so we all slept really well. We had 3 cars and trailers, and all fitted into the drive. The kitchen is fully stocked with crockery, utensils, pots and pans so we were able to be self sufficient. Although, the town of Halls Gap is just a 2min drive when we wanted to try a restaurant. We workshop hesitate to come back to the property next time we're in the area.

Our Yearly gathering

Hall Gap is one of our favourite spots. The accommodation was just what we need. Convenient spot, very clean, plenty of room. One of our group commented on the cuddly big towels! Thank you from us all. Just a few suggestions. Two more outdoor chairs. The covering over the fan in the main bathroom needs attention and check out one of the dining chairs. Please take these suggestions as they are meant. We really do enjoy your house. We hope we can gather there again next year👍👍🙏 Thank you. Marg Lawlor.

Great place for a family holiday

Perfect for families

The house was perfect for us! As a small group consisting of three generations, it was lovely to have a bedroom each. The generous bathroom with the spa bath was a hit and we had baths both nights. The wood fire added warmth and character for the chilly September evenings. The house was super clean and really well equipped for home catering. We had initially tossed up between this and a more expensive property and were very pleased to have saved our coin because it would have been difficult to find a better place to stay. House is situated a short drive from the main town, or there is a walk/bike track for those so inclined.

Cosy cottage perfect for family stay

We enjoyed our stay! The mountain views, green outlook and cosy fireplace were highlights. A couple of things could be improved: the green sofas don’t offer much support, and one kitchen table leg needs securing. Overall, a lovely house for an intergenerational family holiday.

Brilliant girls’ weekend house!

4 of us thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night getaway. A bedroom each plus lots of communal space. The weather was scorching hot but the air conditioning and ceiling fans were terrific. Enough crockery, cutlery, glassware etc for (I’d say) 10 people. The weather limited our outdoor activities but we managed a morning walk to Venus Baths rock pools, a delicious dinner at HG Hotel, breakfast in town one morning and coffee another day. We were delighted with the wallabies, magpies and cockatoos who visited. An excellent venue! Would thoroughly recommend.

Pleasant stay in Halls Gap.

Very neat, tidy house. Peferect for 2 familes. Walking distance to town. Beautiful view from deck with kangroos visiting daily. Overall a lovely, beautiful stay.

A lovely place to stay clean comfortable and well-equipped pleasant walk into Halls Gap. To add a touch to the property we'd suggest some soap in the showers and soap and hand towel in the laundry. we had a lovely stay thank you.

Lovely home. Loved that the living and kitchen areas were separate from bedrooms. Location was outstanding. Great area for hikes and walks.

Wildlife in the backyard

We had a good time in Halls Gap with our kids. The house is a bit older but offers enough space and even wildlife in the backyard. The cleaning was okay but some parts would need a deep clean - especially the kitchen drawers.

Nice place,could be cleaner

The house was great, beds were comfortable and warm, the fire place didnt give out much heat,i think flue due for a clean,we had to use split system to get house warm. The property overall was great,great location, just lacked a few things, not very clean ,cutlery,glasses,plates dirty, hand soap nearly empty in each bathroom and what was in there it was watered down soap. Under cupboard in bathrooms need a good wipe ,dirty, some complementary, soap ,shampoo and conditoner would have been nice too. No face washer, tissues provide almost empty box when we arrived. It was a great house just lacked a few basic things that would have made the stay more enjoyable. It the owners have a paid cleaner i think they need to look for another or if they are doing it themselves then maybe they could use a professional cleaner. Overall we had an enjoyable stay,for a older house it is well maintained just the lack of cleanliness let it down and not a very efficient fire place was disappointing.
