Location, Location, Location. Our home is located in the heart of Charleston’s Historic District on a small walking street. We are one and half blocks from King and Market streets. Walking distance to everything Charleston has to offer; restaurants, The Market, numerous parks, shopping, theaters and a major super market. Park your car on the driveway and forget about it- you will not need it.

Upstairs our home has two master suites with private bathrooms including a Jacuzzi tubs in each one. The master bedroom has a mahogany 18th century Rice Bed with a vaulted beam ceiling. The second bedroom has a queen poster bed. Both bedrooms have large windows to allow natural sunlight, a sitting chair, desk or make up table and wide screen TVs. Linens and towels are of the highest quality to provide you with a luxury experience. There is a washer and dryer off the hall way.

The kitchen is fully stocked and offers small appliances, cooking utensils, pots and pans, glasses, flatware and crystal glasses. This state of the art kitchen allows one to cook a meal as if you were in your own home. Also there is a ½ bath on the first floor.

Enjoy eating in the quaint dining room with mahogany French doors that open to a small garden.

The living room has a gas fireplace, comfortable seating for reading or watching your favorite programs on a wide screen TV. A small writing desk is available to use your laptop computer and the internet.

French doors open from the living room open to an enclosed private patio where you can relax, enjoy a cup of coffee or a full meal. A gas grill is located on the patio.

Beautiful, convenient and impeccably maintained

We stayed at this very charming house in mid-February and found it to be everything we expected and more. The house is impeccably maintained and offers all the amenities you might need – you don’t need to bring a thing. We hesitated to book a lodging that we had not seen in advance or that had not been personally recommended to us, but we are certainly happy that we cancelled our hotel reservations and stayed in this perfect house, conveniently located within walking distance of all the interesting spots of historic Charleston. We were able to leave the car on the property and walk everywhere. The neighbourhood is beautiful, safe, and close to shopping, restaurants, parks and the waterfront. We certainly hope to return!

Single House Gem

After a month here , I can't imagine staying anywhere else. The house is adorable , and the owners are extremely attentive and helpful. Really couldn't have been nicer. The location is perfect, you can walk everywhere.Shopping, food, bars , it's all right here. Each of the 2 bedrooms have their own bath. And it has a walled in patio. very private. I would highly recommend this property ! Lani Myron

We enjoyed staying at this property. It close to King Street and great location for walking all over town. We were pleasantly surprised with the property. It's very comfortable for 4 people and beautifully decorated. We normally stay on King St., when we come to town, but found this property and were able to book it.. I would definitely recommend staying here. There is parking for 1 vehicle in front of the house, but there are street parking permits and a parking garage close by. Definitely a hidden gem.

Charming home

We visit Charleston every year and usually stay in a hotel but decided to rent a house this trip...great decision. This home is beautiful, walking distance for the Market & restaurants and a very quiet neighborhood. The beds are comfortable, each bedroom has a private bath, the kitchen has new appliances, there’s a small washer and dryer, one parking space (but a parking garage close by), tv’s in every room, outdoor seating and newly renovated bathrooms. I recommend bringing washing detergent as there is only 1 towel per person. I definitely would rent again.

I am sorry that the cleaning crew forgot to leave extra towels-also the laundry soap was downstairs under the sink instead of upstairs next to the washer and dryer. We have stayed in a couple different great VRBOs in Charleston over the years and in many VRBOs across the US (and Europe) ...this was by far our favorite to date!!!! We can't say enough about the property: PERFECT location (walk EVERYwhere), most comfortable beds (and we are super picky), So clean!, beautiful (pictures do not do this home justice).... by midweek we were wishing we could buy this house! We were especially excited to realize that we were SO close to our favorite bfst spot Queen Street Grocery! The patio is so wonderful for morning coffee or afternoon wine. The kitchen is well equipped and high quality appliances! Love the beautiful selection of crystal glass wear that made our late afternoon happy hours all the more fun. Huge closets made it nice to "move in" for the week and feel at home. I Was concerned about this property not providing bikes but that' wasn't as issue because there are so many locations nearby with "holy Spokes" bike rental (get the app on your phone). My teenage daughter and I enjoyed buying bath bombs at Lush on King street and then enjoying the deep, jet tubs in our bathrooms for relaxing baths ( a treat we don't get at home). The owner was so easy to communicate with before and during our stay. For anyone reading this review- we are very particular about the places we stay (almost snobby haha) and so take our word for it...this place is PERFECT! We will definitely be back! (And Jeff- let us know if you ever want to sell! ;) )

"Charming" doesn't do the Property Justice!!

When visiting Charleston this is how your accommodations SHOULD look!! Virtually every aspect of the house exceeded my expectations!! My wife and I were traveling with a couple that we haven't seen in some time and this is a great place to play "catch-up." The house is close enough to walk to restaurants and activities--yet also provided a GREAT air-conditioned retreat for our more intimate chats. I didn't hear a single complaint all weekend. Now can you do anything about the July Heat and Humidity?
