We enjoyed our stay

The facilities were good - would be nice to be able to angle the TV towards the couch easier.The hosts' house is right next door, but they did their best to give us privacy. Also worth mentioning is their large industrial chicken farm next door, which I wasn't a fan of, even though it did not inconvenience us.Great communication - Julie even posted a USB we left behind back to us.

What a wonderful weekend away!! Our host at Country Bliss - BnB was so very nice, warm and welcoming. Definitely a place we will stay again. As this was a surprise for my lovely wife I couldn't really ask her what kind of things we could do without spoiling the surprise, our host Julie was just amazing and her response to my email about our late arrival and any thoughts about op shops to visit (Rey absolutely loves op shopping) and other things to do was so informative it was like having our very own personal concierge. Our other hosts Oscar (the cat) and Beau (the pup) were very welcoming and so friendly we felt like we were home.

Just what i needed

The property was perfect. My wife was in Grace Hospital and i just wanted somewhere close to Grace that was quiet. Country Bliss was perfect. Will definitely stay there again and recommend to friends

A Peaceful Piece of Paradise

Gorgeous quiet location in the countryside, yet only minutes away from amenities. The accommodation is beautifully appointed with everything you could need; and host Julie is just amazing - friendly and welcoming with out being intrusive. Gave some great recommendations for dining options in the area, and we enjoyed our chats with her and our pats with the handsome Beau; one very energetic and friendly dog.

This was our first stop after spending nearly a full day in airplanes coming from USA. Julie was rheir to greet us and make us feel right at home. Lovely cottage and great hosts

I loved my time at Country Bliss Cottage. The cottage has all you need for a comfortable, cozy stay. Super clean and very nicely appointed and decorated. Julie is a fabulous host. Very friendly and accommodating. We loved our daily visits from Beau! We felt right at home as soon as we arrived. The location is lovely, super quiet, fresh air, yet only 15 to 20 minutes to central Tauranga. I hope to return one day!

Quiet and clean

Lovely place with friendly hosts. Rural area so we enjoyed wonderful walks amidst the kiwi fruit orchards but only 15 minutes to the edge of town. Highly recommended as very very clean and tidy

Calm & Relaxing

We are very grateful for Julie and Rick's hospitality during our stay. The welcome all the way up to the Goodbye made our stay overall satisfying. They were very considerate with the space we stayed in and tried to stay away but it was all Smiles and waves whenever we bumped into each other. One love stay

Weather turned awful but we made the most of the long weekend! Accommodation was lovely, Pool was very relaxing. They had everything available from Shampoo/conditioner too use of dryer/ washing line. Felt very luxurious, hosts are lovely welcoming people. You can tell they really care about making your stay as comfortable as possible. My partner was quite happy just watching One piece on netflix haha 😂 It you end up in Tauranga for the weekend! This is a amazing place to stay. They let us add later check out and change around our check in time to fit our needs!! This beautiful place will be missed haha

Perfect in every way!

This was our first stay at this property, and we would happily book to stay again. Situated in a very peaceful rural setting, the property was clean and well-maintained with a nice modern decor. The air conditioning was much appreciated during our stay, as we experienced some hot weather. The host's attention to detail was evident throughout.

We enjoy our country surroundings so much it just seems the obvious choice to share it with those who wish to enjoy a place of quiet for some relaxation to get away from it all to travel and explore, and those who need an uninterrupted space to work. We love to meet people and this is our way of keeping our social lives a little more fulfilled, but we do respect individuals who prefer to keep to themselves. We have our 2 sons living at home while beginning their own journeys into the working world, 2 cats and a rather energetic Bearded Collie dog (He loves meeting our guests)

We are a quiet family who enjoy the odd visits from family & friends. We don't party (actually the odd one ONLY when we have no guests) or play loud music or cause any disruption to our guests stay. Otherwise we go about our day on our farm, in the gardens, maintaining our property or simply relaxing ourselves and enjoying the good life. We are very respectful of our guests privacy

We are situated right on towns edge 3 km away, close to all amenities one thrives on in town but far enough to enjoy the rural peacefulness. We love it here because of the closeness to town but have the benefit of beautiful country scenery, trees, bird life, and the peaceful surroundings. Our accommodation is unobtrusive and completely seperate from our home so you can relax at will. In the summer months you can enjoy a swim in our salt water pool and in winter venture not far from us to relax in thermal hot spring pools (Fernland spa, Oropi pools, or Mount Maunganui pools). We love the fact that we get to enjoy our country surrounds and the views of Mauao (Mount Maunganui) and be on the beautiful golden sands of Mount Maunganui beaches within 25 minutes from our home. We are truly blessed to live in such a gorgeous country with a vast variety of destinations all so different within easy driving distances (be it rivers, lakes, mountains, beaches, city life, forest)

We are friendly, helpful hosts who will provide whatever information we can to make your stay and travels as enjoyable as possible. Our guests reep the benefits of both worlds, unwinding and de-stressing in rural tranquility and getting all the fixes one needs from city living close by. We are less than 5 minutes drive to wedding venues such as The Orchard, Ataahua, and Phoenix Valley. If you are a keen outdoors person we have at least 6 different golf courses nearby, mountain biking trails, bush walks, hot pools, the best beach in New Zealand at Mount Maunganui, and top quality restaurants and cafes to delight the inner chef.
