Beautiful place in a beautiful setting!

The house was beautiful, clean and very well-equipped (the children particularly appreciated the games), the views and sunsets were fabulous, and the peace and quiet was just wonderful. Nicolas was extremely helpful and welcoming. We couldn't have hoped for a nicer few days in this gorgeous setting! Thank you _:-)

Un séjour paisible dans un superbe environnement

Nous avons apprécié l'accueil particulièrement chaleureux de Nadine, les conseils, les bons plans sur les choses à voir... La maison très agréable, offre une vue exceptionnelle dans un environnement plein de quiétude. De plus il y a beaucoup beaucoup à voir et visiter dans un rayon de 1h à 2h de route.

Calme et ressourçant

Gîte super équipé sur 3 niveaux, avec SDB et SDD, ne nécessitant pas de clim vu l'épaisseur des murs. Outre la maison des proprios et celle de leur maman, 2 autres habitations forment le hameau de Barsa. Piscine partagée, chauffée légèrement par panneaux solaires. Jardin immense, partagé, avec vue splendide sur les Pyrénées. Hamac, balançoire, pétanque, badminton. Grande terrasse, ilbyca tout ! Acceuil très attentionné des proprios, très à l'écoute. Des vacances parfaites. Nous recommandons vivement !

Great stay at a great location

Where to start? We had a great 2 weeks in the house of the Cordonnier. At our arrival we were straight away welcomed by Nicolas and invited by Nadine for an 'apéritive' a couple of days later to talk about our interests, hence possible activities, places to visit and tips. We ended up doing almost the whole list we came up with. By the way, the best tip ever was to park on a P+R outside of Toulouse and take the metro into the city center instead of driving there as we did in the past. That said the house is very well located to visit the larger communes around like Mirepoix (<30m) and the cities of Toulouse (<1h30m) and Carcassonne (<1h). The house of the Cordonnier itself was very nice, spacious and had all amenities. Not to mention the view of the Pyrenees. Except for a couple of minor details there's really nothing bad to say about it. The outdoor amenities were also good, starting with the pool. It is large, also with a great view, and is shared with the family and their friends, but at no point did this cause an issue. Besides that there are a swing, bike and toy tractor, all of which were nice extra's for our children. So thanks Nadine and Nicolas for your hospitality and making this a great holiday. Also a special thank you to Nicolas' mother and partner who were extremely helpful in helping us out when we ended up with a flat tyre only a day before returning home. Holiday 2017

Nicolas was a very warm and welcoming host. He gave us recommendations as well as making us feel very welcome. He was approachable and thoughtful. The house is clean with lots of room. The pool was also lovely and clean and very refreshing. Our one disappointment was the unseasonable weather that was windy and unsettled, so we weren't able to take more advantage of the pool. Nicolas was as surprised about it as we were. But the location is fantastic and very quiet. Perfect if you are looking for a relaxing get-away. There are plenty of places to visit and things to do. Highly recommended!

Beautiful gite, nice view

Gite is beautiful, cosy, well equiped, nice view over the hills. Owners very nice and helpfull. Much to see in the surroundings. The nearest (little) village is about 4 km, so very quiet.

"Location très agréable, décorée avec goût dans un superbe environnement avec vue imprenable sur les pyrénées. La maison est très calme et les propiétaires sont acceuillants. La cheminée offre un grand plus lors de journées très froides comme nous en avons eu. A recommander."

"Location très agréable : très bien équipée, décorée avec goût. Le terrain est grand et constitue un magnifique terrain de jeu pour des enfants. Les propriétaires sont sympathiques et de bon conseil pour visiter cette magnifique région. L'adresse est hautement recommandable et nous y avons passé d'excellentes vacances."
