Welcome to our beautiful Downtown Grand Haven where everything you could want is just outside your door. This is a upper level apartment situated above our family friendly Downtown retail main street. It is the central hub of shopping, restaurants/bars, coffee shops and galleries.
This 2 bedroom 1 bath rental has been meticulously cared for and makes for a comfortable home away from home. You will find this location to be one of the best. Only a block and a half from the musical fountain and a mile walk to the lighthouse! Full stocked and ready so you only need to bring your suitcase and enjoy!
New and comfortable furnishings and linens. Fully stocked kitchen for dining in. Ever wonder what living in a city apartment was like? Coffee at the corner cafe with the morning paper while the sleepy street comes slowly alive, dinner and a nice glass of wine at a lovely restaurant of your choice. Follow up with entertainment inside or outside, it’s your choice tonight because it’s all right here. Only to go home to enjoy your quite place above it all.

We really enjoyed our stay. We always try to leave a suggestion for improvement to owners, but there was nothing we could suggest. The location is right downtown above shops and restaurants with easy access and parking. The two entrances (one on the street and one behind the shop) were so convenient.We enjoyed walking the waterfront down to the beach and to Grand Haven pier. The host is attentive and kind working to make everything for your stay perfect. No one mentioned the art and photographs from local artistswhich are a nice touch.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The location couldn’t have been better—tucked just off Main Street, we were able to stroll to the Musical Fountain, browse the shops, and enjoy the local restaurants every day. It was the perfect size for our family of five, and being able to bring our dogs along made it even more special.The home was spotless upon arrival and so well-stocked, it truly felt like one of the best properties we’ve ever rented. The entire process from booking to check-out was smooth and easy, and communication with Leanne was friendly and effortless.We loved that there is an entrance off Main St and the back (which was very convenient and helpful to load/unload our car). There is a flight of stairs to go up, and it is narrow but very manageable. We would absolutely stay here again and will definitely stay again in the future.

Beautiful Grand Haven Vacay

Barefoot Dave’s was a perfect location for our traditional Grand Haven summer vacay. We stay different places each year but I’ve always wanted to stay above one of the stores on the strip. Well Barefoot Dave’s was absolutely perfect for my family and they are dog friendly. Our little Teddy felt right at home just as we did. Location was perfect to everything. Fountain show just down the street too. The accommodations were just as described, very clean and had everything you would need. The owners were very kind and easy to communicate with. We definitely will go back.

Fun location with stairs

It requires a flight of stairs to enter but was very pleasant. The apartment was very clean with basic amenities. We watched a parade from the living room window. :)

Heart of the city

Adorable apartment right in downtown Grand Haven! Stocked with all of the essentials. Plenty of restaurants right outside the door. 5 minute drive to the beach. Be sure to go see the fountain at dusk and grab some ice cream while you’re there!

Quaint apartment in a great downtown location

We enjoyed our stay at the Barefoot Daves rental. The location is perfect, with nearly everything within walking distance. The property manager was very helpful and detailed, and all instructions were clear. The place was tidy, with clean surfaces and fresh towels and linens. We did find the floors to be a bit dirty. We would stay here again because the location and price can't be beat

Leanne's Apartment

Absolutely amazing experience. This is the perfect Vrbo for a couple, or 2-4 people in Grand Haven. Plenty of space in the unit and very clean. The location was unreal. Walk right out to shops, the riverfront, dinner, 15 mins to the beach.. we parked the car Thursday and used it one time just to drive a bit around sightseeing. Highly recommend this stay!

Clean and comfortable

Booked this unit for my stay in grand haven for Jeep fest. I had no idea that I would be right in the hub of everything! It would so convenient to walk outside and just be right there! It wasn’t noisy in my unit. It was surprisingly bigger than what I expected. Shower is a nice size. There’s no oven but there is a glass top stove. The only true negative that I saw was that the secondary bedroom and the living room could use some blackout curtains. There are pull down shades but the black out curtains would make sleeping a little more comfortable. Very safe location and would 1000% book here again for next year jeep fest.

Great for a family of 4

Fantastic location, walk out the door to town and the social district, walk to the fountains. About a mile from the beach but easy parking there. Close convenient parking. Only real issue we had was that if you run the coffee pot and microwave at the same time, it’ll cause a breaker issue and you’ll lose power to the kitchen. We were able to check in early which was great so we could settle in and hit the beach. There is noise, as you’re downtown near a social district so keep that in mind. We had white noise machines and it was fine.
