Make your OBX Dream a reality when you reserve this fabulous soundfront condo at Sugar Creek Landing. Overlooking the Roanoke Sound, enjoy water views and spectacular sunsets that you'll never forget from the private balcony. The kitchen features a breakfast bar and is fully equipped with everything you could need to prepare meals on your Outer Banks vacation. It overlooks the open-concept living area where you can relax, watch movies or play games, or simply plan your next days adventures. Guests will also have access to the community pool with outdoor showers and bathroom. There's a community pier that provides direct, private access to the sound for crabbing, kayaking, or windsurfing. When you arrive, skip the stairs and use the building elevator to send up your luggage and groceries.

Nearby are great local restaurants, shopping, and numerous family attractions including Jennette's Pier, Jockey's Ridge, and Bodie Island Lighthouse. Situated near the causeway, OBX Dream is just a hop, skip and a jump to a fun-filled day of exploring downtown Manteo, or even an exciting offshore fishing trip from nearby Oregon Inlet Fishing Center or Pirates Cove Marina.

Can’t stay an entire week? OBX Dream is available for short stays with flexible arrival/departure options. For guests who like to plan ahead, partial week stays (three-night minimum) can be reserved months in advance. Avoid the weekend traffic by choosing any day of the week for check-in and check-out.

This apartment is very clean, crisp and comfortable and we loved that we could bring our doggie! There's an elevator if you need, and stairs right by the front door. The view of the sound and the pier were lovely for sunsets. That said, if you're not familiar with Nags Head, you may want to know that it's full of development, shops, etc, and this building is next to quite a busy main road. If you're up for crossing this multilane highway, the beach is just a 5 minute walk away. Google Maps doesn't do a great job of finding the building, and once you're there the signage is terrible (it's like a labyrinth!) so look for "The Landings at Sugar Creek." If you want to be on the main drag of Nags Head, this would be a great place to stay.

Great location!

We have been vacationing in OBX since the early 1980s. This condo is in a fantastic location. Close to the outlet malls, Jennette's Pier and public beach access, Manteo, and all of our favorite restaurants. It's also close to the entrance to the Hatteras seashore and close to Bodie Light, Coquina Beach and straight shot to Oregon Inlet fishing center and Pea Island NWR. The unit is spotless, well equipped and the perfect size for us. You will have to deal with quite a bit of road noise, however, those OBX sunsets over the sound totally make it worthwhile. We would definitely stay here again!

fishing trip

The property was in a perfect location..close to the pier as well as shops and easy access to many restaurants. The dock that is part of the property on the sound side was super nice and my husband enjoyed fishing off of it. The major issue we had was the condo was not clean. At first glance it seemed ok , not great , but upon further investigation the toilets did not appear to be cleaned, there was lots of dust on the floors, there was clothes and shoes in the closets . I contacted housekeeping but go no reply. I'm not saying we'd never stay there again as I understand the owner doesn't do the cleaning perrsonally but if we choose to stay it will be inspected for cleaniness before we unpack.

Good space for a small family

Good size, clean, everything worked fine, on a very convenient location, next to The Nags Head Outlet Mall and near Manteo and the Cape Hatteras National Sea Park. Close enough to all the OBX fun.

Great time!

Property was absolutely awesome and all it promised to be. Had a fantastic vacation week. Realty very professional, kind and courteous leading up to visit and during visit. However, we initially arrived at the wrong location (but the wrong location had left a gift for us (the right people); initial phone call to realty was very frustrating as the representative insisted that we were at the right location and had a key pad for entry - which we did not....it was a keyed lock). After they figured it out, dealt with different representative and things were better. Not horrible, just very frustrating that they argued with us and told us we were in the correct place and that WE were WRONG. Turns out, that wasn't the case at all. Opportunities: felt a little pushed to check out earlier than 10 a.m. check out time (multiple emails, texts and even a phone call)
