The interior needed a deep clean, spider webs in the loft and on thew walls. Did not see any live spiders. The deck needed cleaned, all the deck chairs were covered in dust and there were spider webs all over.

Bad experience

It was disappointing. We never got instructions on what to do. We never got code to get in. I had to call the number and we ended up getting in at 6 pm. The beds were not clean, had hairs. The place was cold. Very bad experience. We left a day early. We need get some kind of refund. I would appreciate somebody getting back to about this situation. Thank you.

Fairplay Get Away

There was a snow storm while we were there, but we were comfortable and warm. The house was furnished to meet all of our needs. It was also close to all the places we wanted to visit.

Horrible

This is a tiny home. The property is very small not clean what so ever. They say do dishs but no soap or dishwasher soap. The heat stays on constantly making it hotter then hell. The place needs to be cleaned properly. Water does not stay warm or even get hot. Toilet can't be flushed more then 1x every 20 mins or it doesn't re fill. Would not recommend to anyone and pissed we paid so much for such a crap place.

FairPlay stay

The cabin is like a tiny home, which was not the over all problem. The home was very dusty and carpet needs to be clean. There was no fire place because it was out of order. The heater in the house seems to be on a timer. So we were freezing the entire trip. The hot water only stays hot for 10 min and takes a few hours to build back up. Also it may have a electrical problem, get shocked every time I turn in lights in the cabin. But the dust triggered my asthma and the cabin just need a deep clean.

Memorial weekend

This was a great little quiet getaway for my girlfriend and I. We were remmebering her daughter that was lost 7 years ago and this was a very quiet and peaceful area to stay and get away. You are literally minutes from mountain drives and not to far of a drive to either beuna vista or breckenridge. If you do happen to stay in this area you have to check out the little local shops in Fairplay and give South Park Saloon a try for some great friendly atmosphere and AMAZING food. WELL DONE!!

Fairplay is a lovely and quaint town

A visit to Colorado is always enjoyable and Fairplay is a wonderful town. Regarding the Fairplay cabin w/large porch: Pros- it does have a nice large porch that is enjoyable all day - even with rainy days we were able to enjoy the outside. The cabin location was close to the action in Fairplay and provided a nice walking area by the river. It was plenty of space for 2 adults and offered cable TV, with a laundry facility on site. The guest host was responsive initially providing help and suggestions. Cons- the Evolve group was late providing information and difficult to reach via phone to the point I was concerned we had been scammed (this is after our final payment). After several minutes on the phone and conversations with 2 different representatives, I was able to get the information promised. It is unclear who is responsible for housekeeping/maintenance and while the cabin is surface clean, it needs attention specifically with the pots/pans, the oven, a dirty extra blanket and basic sweeping/cleaning of the deck. The vrbo site indicates several amenities that are a bit misleading- - there is no parking on the street (although the Evolve information said street parking is allowed) -the gas grill does not work (would not ignite) -wifi is available but limited (it ran out the last day of the month, back on the next day)

A few condition issues

full ashtray on porch of this non-smoking unit. grill was dirty and still had piece of chicken on it. dirty laundry behind the bedroom door. bathroom seat will not stay up for the guys. very limited hot water in this prefabricated cabin unit. We enjoyed the stay, even with a few housekeeping issues.

We loved our Fairplay cabin stay!

This was the perfect cabin for our family. There was plenty of room inside and out. Fairplay was just a couple minute drive and the Fairplay Mining District, Park to pan for gold was within walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay!

Small & lovely

Nice views of mountains and valleys. Has large patio with outdoor fireplace and grill. Convenient to explore South Park City museum. Pictures on website are accurate.
