Little Forest Cabins is a slice of paradise.Clean and comfortable with everything you need. If it's peace and quiet you are seeking and yet still want to be handy to town, this is the place for you. The morning view accompanied with birdsong is outstanding.I can't recommend Little Forest Cabins strongly enough.

Peaceful retreat

Lovely stay, enjoyed watching the sheep grazing outside the window. Very quiet& the hosts were very accomodating, told us best place to go mountain biking. Would definetly stay again.

Neat get-away

We had a lovely stay. Only thing was when we woke in the morning the windows had condensation, which was cold & wet (Winter time). Maybe the bathroom needed a heat lamp. It would be different during the summer. Overall we enjoyed staying there, would come back definitely.

Loved our brief visit to Feilding and stay at Little Forrest Cabins a highlight. The setting and outlook gorgeous, the cabins fresh and comfortable. Carol went the extra distance to give the little person in our entourage a fantastic encounter feeding the sheep. A little moment in time that we will treasure. Lovely weekend

Beautifully located cabins, children loved the animals and the walk through the trees. Only problem was my own error not noting that there were minimal cooking facilities. This was nothing to do with the communication around the property - just my own error. Carole welcomed us on arrival and friendly dog soaked up all attention we wanted to give. Short drive to Fielding and all we anted to do.

What a view

The little forest cottages are modern and spotlessly clean. The view is great and it is such a peaceful spot. Close to Fielding and suited our needs perfectly. Highly recommend.

We have both traveled a lot with our sports and like meeting people. We have been involved with competitive wood chopping, dog trialing, off road motorbike racing, shearing and all farming related things. We enjoy motorcycling around New Zealand when we get the opportunity.
We built these cabins ourselves as a project and they have come up very well.

Why they chose this property

Three new 49m2 cabins situated on top of a hill and only 2 kms from Feilding. Separate bedroom with a queen bed, bathroom and good lounge. Another two beds in lounge if needed. Panoramic views towards the ranges. Also guests can walk around the trees in the paddocks.

What makes this property unique

This property is only a few kilometres from the town boundary. Follow the railway line north and it will lead onto Makino road. There is a Little Forest sign at the gate of 519 Makino Road, Feilding.
