Wonderful fireplace. Excellent kitchen. Clean environment. Was a bit chilly, but owner provided fireplace and heaters for bedrooms to make apartment very comfortable.

It has been a really cold week in Calgary. The suite is eqipped with, furnace, A fire place and portable heater as well if need be. We try our best to make it comfy for our guests. Any inconvenience beyond our capability is regretted.

Had a great stay here with my dad. It was wonderful to have the separate bedrooms, and also the kitchen and lounging space to enjoy each other's company. Would certainly recommend. Clean and well presented!

All in all a very solid place to stay that worked out well for us. The value proposition of this place is off the charts! The sofa and armchair seat cushions were uncomfortable, but the windows out of the walk out were delightful. The host was great, even found a lost stuff toy for us after checkout!

Had an incident with a child entering into our space from the upstairs quarters so some privacy concerns but otherwise the stay was good.

Hi Adrienne, With due respect, there are not stains on the roof , but it is the new type of special paint (popcorn ceiling), which is very common for roofs these days. We only street parking spots and out of about 50 spots available along the street, at least 20 to 30 percent are always vacant. However as a professional courtesy, we acknowledge your comments and thank you for staying with. We are happy that except for color of the roof, all rest was acceptable. Stay safe Regards Good. - noisy from upstairs, banging, walking, talking, children runny- Uncomfortable couches- Lights coming out of ceiling- Dirty towel- Door was unlocked when we arrived- Plate on the door locking thing fell off as soon as we opened the door- No central heating or thermostat that controlled the whole space. Fire place heat so not effect bedrooms - No wifi- Not very warm shower, even tap water was cold-possible plumbing issue, when you used the toilet or tap gurgling noise would come from the tub- Children running, very loud- Not cleaned sidewalks, even down the steep hill to back door. We slipped a few times. -kettle turned on without any one turning it on, recommend replacing.

We regret any inconvenience caused by the harsh weather in Calgary during this period. The suite is provided with furnace heating, a big fireplace in the lobby, and electric heaters in individual rooms and bathrooms. It is a surprise to find these comments in the final review, as none of them were communicated or reported earlier during the 3-night stay. Had these been communicated earlier by text message or email, they would have been addressed in a timely manner. Itemized reply to these comments as follows: 1)There are about a dozen clean/ freshly washed towels provided in the closet, one of which had a couple of microstains reported on it. It was not dirty at all, howeveer it is being replaced 2) The ceiling light apparently came out of the recess. It is probably due to the banging of the exit door. It is also being fixed. 3) During the daytime, the upper floor is used by the family, and sometimes school kids make noise. 4) Hi speed WIFI is always available there. 5)The entrance door was left open to avoid any hassle In opening the door during extreme cold weather. We still appreciate the comments and would like to address these in the future. The guest is requested to review the comments . Regards Mahmood

Road trip to Alberta and Calgary

Place was comfortable, easy access. Not close in but suited our needs, kitchen and dining very good, beds comfortable. Would have liked to have streaming on tv but we did get good reception for broadcast and were able to stream on computer due to good internet connection.

Exactly like the pictures. Easy to find. Very spacious. Great AC. Lots of amenities (extra blankets, towels, tea kettle, shampoo, lotion, etc). 5 minute drive from Ctrain station.

Friendly host and comfortable stay

The host was easy to communicate with when we had questions. The suite stayed quite cool especially with the +28°C weather we had for our whole stay. There were fans in every sleeping area which also really helped us stay comfortable. The lockbox was a bit tricky to get open, so some better instructions for that would've been helpful. All of the necessities were provided for us, including shampoo, conditioner, and soap in the bathroom. Would stay here again!

Not fancy but worth the price

The photos say it all - it’s not fancy/modern but it has everything we needed. The location is great and the host responded quickly to our inquiries. My only complaint was the kitchen needs a deep clean. A pan we wanted to use was coated in baked on grease that we could not get off. Overall it was good value for the cost.

On tenants request we supplied oveWe We use professional cleaners to clean our place and offered a recall but they decided to do it as per their choice. We provided the oven cleaner free of charge.

Nice Rental

This was a good location for our purposes, and we appreciated the comfortable queen sized beds and fireplace. Our only issues were that the toilet was visibly dirty and the dishes were not properly clean, and that the only heat sources for the space was the base heater in the bathroom and the fireplace in the living room. Fine for summer, but it was literally -20 to -30 during our stay and that made for some chilly bedrooms. All in all, a good rental for the price. Thanks!
