Cabin in the Pines

Great property with wonderful amenities like beach chairs, grill, lobster pot, etc. Terrific location near National seashore and rail path.

Cute Cozy Cape Cod Cottage

Just what you'd imagine for a cottage on the cape. Small, cozy, rustic, comfortable and quiet. Rated it down from 4stars to 3stars because they don't provide linens and towels. At this price point that should be standard. It's tough for a family of 6 road-tripping and packed to the gills to not have towels and linens.

Cottage in the pines

House was clean with a good location. However, advertised cable TV box was not working. We wanted to see Olympics too. WiFi password available 2 days after check in. No toilet paper, one dysfunct fan. Realty company who runs the rentals was of no help. In summary : cute little cottage needs a bit more attention to detail by owner/ realty co.

Did not enjoy this house

First, I will say that the house is in a nice quiet area with a nice bike/walking path and the realtor was very nice in helping us with the cable. However, while the bathrooms and kitchen were fairly clean, the rest of the house was not. It looked like it hadn't been vacuumed or dusted in a long time. We found dead bugs everywhere. I have pictures. My husband spent the first hour in the house vacuuming up all of the dead bugs and wiping down the ledges. In the bedroom with the twin beds on the main floor there was no padding between the window sashes as there should have been with an in-window air conditioner. My daughter woke up with a lot of bug bites before we figured this out and used a t-shirt to block the opening. The mattresses were extremely uncomfortable. So you might want to being a mattress topper with you. The King size bed is actually 2 twins pushed together. There was no toilet paper, or paper towels for use. While I knew ahead of time that we would have to bring our own linens and towels. I was not prepared to have to provide the other things. Be prepared for no water pressure in either shower. We did not have cable for a few days. Turns out the cable box was not working and had to be replaced. Once it was connected, there were only a handful of channels available to us it wasn't really worth the effort that was taken to replace the box. We did enjoy our time out of the house, but would not book this one again.

It was Cute

I requested a property late. This was a nice house. A couple minor issues, smoke detector problem that wasn't resolved; very hard king mattress; Keurig coffee maker, which is nice, but unusual for a rental, so I brought regular coffee (very minor); washing machine said "do NOT use Tide products", which is of course, what I brought. So, minor issues, but maybe a couple things that could be stated in amenities? We enjoyed our stay.
