Escape to Finn's Fish Camp, a cozy cabin in Big Bear's Village Area, just about a 10-minute walk from Big Bear Lake and the Village. This 500+ sq ft retreat features a fully fenced backyard, gas fireplace, Smart TV and a convenient location close to the lake, shops and mountain adventures.

Enjoy the best of Big Bear without needing to drive everywhere. Walk to the lake and Village, explore nearby National Forest trails, then come home to relax by the fireplace, enjoy a BBQ in the fenced backyard or unwind with a movie.

Inside the cabin
The comfortable living area features cozy seating, a Smart TV, fast WiFi, dining table, bar seating and a beautiful gas fireplace that creates a warm atmosphere on chilly mountain evenings.

The kitchen provides the essentials for preparing meals during your stay, making it easy to enjoy a relaxing night in after exploring Big Bear.

Finn's Fish Camp is a rustic, cozy cabin perfect for couples. The cabin is charming and has maintained its vintage vibe while also offering modern updates to the kitchen and bathroom. We appreciated all of the kitchen appliances and utensils that we could use. The refrigerator was clean and the furnishings comfortable. The location is amazing! A nice, quiet neighborhood within close proximity to the Village. Having fans to use was great as we stayed in the summer heat. We also loved having the fully fenced yard for our dogs. We couldn't figure out how to open the futon so if you have directions for that, it would be helpful. Cool Cabins had great communication. I appreciated their texts and reminders. We also took advantage of the discount at Get Boards where we rented kayaks. All in all it was a great trip and we would stay at this property again.

Finns Fish Camp

Nice 1 bedroom rustic cabin located within walking distance of Victor's Center, the lake, and The Village. It has a cozy gas fire place in the living room and a small wall heater in the bedroom. They had games to play or TV with access to movies.It was perfect for the two of us and our little dog.

Enjoyable stay where all needs were met. Backyard for the dog and a comfy place to lay my head between walking the lake and hitting the slopes. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay

Great location, great price. Back yard is humongous which was nice. Home was cute and nicely decorated. Smart TVs were great. Couch was a bit uncomfortable but bedroom had a smart TV so it was no problem. Thanks we had a very good stay here and every big bear cool cabin we have stayed at. Looking forward to staying again soon

Great Rustic Weekend Getaway

This was a great simple cabin. The heater kept the living room warm, and there was a heater in the bedroom. We had some issues with the oven not working and the sink not draining. Cool Cabins said they could send someone to the house while we were there but it didn’t seem worth it to us to hang out waiting for someone on vacation. Overall we enjoyed our stay. It had hot water and the essentials for a cabin getaway. Nothing fancy but satisfied for what we needed!

First location horrible. Second. Fantastic!

The first place they put us in was horrendous. No screens to let cool air in. Some windows painted shut. The bedroom outside has a hornets nest in the eve right outside. BUT! They quickly moved us to a wonderful place on 79 Marin. Screens, lights of fans!! 100% better. We would stay there again. Both places clean.

it started before I arrived. I paid through VRBO for the entire stay. The managing agency (Big Bear Cool Cabins) made me complete a form - asking for a copy of my drivers license, personal information and a picture of front and back of my credit card. The female told me that if I didn't send them a pic of my CC (the day of and completely paid), they would deny me access to the cabin. I reminded her I paid for it- she didn't care. When I arrived - the front and back of the cabin was covered in 2 feet tall weeds.Outside furniture was rusting and falling apart. Inside was a sauna, so I opened the windows (they had burlap as curtains). only one window had a screen. All the other windows and doors had NO screens. The window sills were covered with cobwebs. The bed was against one of the windows. The pillows against the window had cobwebs. I sent Cool Cabin a picture of the pillows with cobwebs - they had the audacity to ask me, and I quote, "would you like me to send out housekeeping?" Seriously?? I sat on a chair just outside the back door while housekeeping cleaned. I was outside for 15 seconds when a spider crawled on my arm. I never sat outside. The night was miserable- no screens to keep the windows open. I was afraid if I left the windows open flies, bees, and critters would get in. never again!

This is only requested beforehand so you can go directly to the cabin. If you chose to not send in the additional information, you could have checked in at the office. We sincerely apologize for the state of the property upon your arrival. The overgrown weeds, rusting furniture, lack of window screens, and cobwebs are unacceptable. These conditions should have been addressed before your stay, and we regret that they were not. It's disappointing to hear about your uncomfortable night due to the lack of screens and the issues with cleanliness. We apologize for the inadequate response from our team and the distress it caused. We value your feedback and will use it to improve our services and ensure these issues are addressed promptly.
