Albert Cottage - charming miner's cottage in the heart of town

Centrally located and beautifully renovated, Albert Cottage is a 3-bedroom, 1.5 bathroom dog friendly property (secure yard) only 100 metres walk to the main street of of Daylesford.

Built in the 1850’s this Miners cottage is very much part of Daylesford’s heritage. Boasting period features including polished wooden floorboards, decorative fireplaces, high ceilings and dado walls, combined with modern styling and conveniences.

Ducted heating throughout keeps you warm and toasty in winter and a two-person spa in the bathroom (shower over bath) will help to soothe aches and pains. A full kitchen and dining area with a separate lounge for cooking up a storm or for cosy nights in. Walk through the French doors to the fully enclosed rear garden for a BBQ or just take in the beautiful sun from the north facing yard. Evaporative cooling throughout.

Perfect for up to 6 guests, family or friends, one bedroom with flexible bedding accommodate most groups.

Bedding: The king-size bed in bedroom 2 can be split into 2 x singles if required. Please advise your preferred bedding configuration when booking. Dog friendly property with a secure yard.

The cottage is set on a quiet street that leads you to the famous botanic gardens and Convent Gallery and wonderful restaurants like Bistro Terroir and Betel Boy.

Gorgeous Albert Cottage

Our family of 4 stayed in Albert Cottage for the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The cottage is beautifully appointed with incredibly comfortable furnishings and a well equipped kitchen. The location was perfect, a short stroll to the main street and ample parking on the street outside the cottage.we will definitely be back!

Perfect Location

This was an amazing location, a short walk to town, to the Convent Gallery and more. Was fantastic to be able to bring our dog with us who enjoyed the large fully secure back yard. One of the only downsides was that there was no information about bins, heating or anything. We would have been more than happy to put them out but then missed them. But overall a great house, in a great location and we had a great stay! would definately recommend it.
