Great Christmas Getaway!!!

Our family spent the long Christmas weekend here and even though it was too cold to enjoy the outdoors until the last night, we had a great time! The house was just as expected and had everything we needed. It was super clean, large enough for the family, and the views were beautiful!!! We would definitely like to come back in the warmer months and enjoy the outdoors more!

Celebrated my moms 80th birthday with Elephants - we absolutely loved this house . it was made for quality time around the huge fire pit and lake views were majestic . The house slept everyone well with comfy beds and amazing rain showers . They had all the movies and games you could ask for . It’s perfect for reconnecting with your loved ones .

Haven of God's creation.

Originally this trip was a chance for my husband and I to spend spring break with our daughter and grandkids, ( 17, 12, 3). But the week before my 84 yr old mother entered the hospital seriously ill and declined quickly passing on Monday morning the 13th, just 2 days prior to our trip. The trip turned out to be a beautiful place to let God hold me, and in the midst of heartache and find moments of Joy, and laughter, and just rest. Although the weather was cold the kids were able to take the paddle boat and Kayaks out on the lake, make stores, and ping pong on the deck. Our 3 year old granddaughter ask if she could live there with her mom. Highly recommend this home to anyone. Would live to go back in warmer weather . ☆☆☆☆☆

Quilter’s Lake Retreat

We needed a new venue for our Fall Retreat, so I selected a property within reasonable driving distance from home. It was close enough to to civilization and far enough for isolation. The photos really helped to make the decision. We are all senior citizens, except one, thus the layout met our needs. We enjoyed the well-stocked home and new renovations. Thank you for opportunity to book with you. I think we would like to return.

Relaxing and Fun Weekend

Really beautiful and quite place. Lots' of space, everyone in our group had a palce to relax and enjoy the lake and surroundings. We especially appreciated kayaks and all games on site. Very well maintained, love the labels on kitchen drawers. We will definitely be back.

Picturesque

Lovely opportunity for reflection and restoration. We had a small soirée for my birthday and Rosh Hashanah. Quiet, and relaxed neighborhood with neighbors that bicycle in the morning. We thoroughly enjoyed the swimming and light fishing. Very clean, well designed lake house, kindly owners. Perfect hideaway next to a state park. Thank you for your generous rental escape; it’s nice to have a secret retreat. God bless your family!

Glorified Gratitude

God was with us on this beautiful trip!! The scenic beauty could have been in a magazine!! The children had a screened game room that gave the adults time to catch up on each other. We fished and swam at night, celebrating my birthday and Rosh Hashanah. Gratitude for the host, and the innkeeper; they were considerate and helpful. The neighbors biked at night and waved like in the old days. Hopefully, we will do it, again.

Reflection Time

My parents and families were all from the Fort Towson area and as a birthday celebration for my husband we made a nostalgic trek back to the area. Had been there hundreds of times before. The stay in the lake house was everything we had imagined. Lovely accommodation and the lake setting so serene. Hosts have thought of everything you could possibly need for enjoying your visit. Next time we will bring more family to share in the delight! Definitely a keeper!
