Cheap and close to transport BUT 2 lights broken, laundry left in the washing machine, second bedroom smelt terrible, so bad it set my granddaughters hay fever off, we were expecting queen bed and TWO singles but there was only one single. Communication to find where to pick up keys was difficult. If there was wifi, couldn’t pick it up, no tea towel to dry dishes. Chain to open main curtain kept breaking and lock to balcony was very dodgy. Fridge was frozen over.

Central but wouldn’t stay again
Good points: central location, easy check-in, kitchen well stocked with the notable exception of no kitchen knife (I had to boil vegetables whole to soften before I could cut them with a cutlery knife to make soup!) Reasons I wouldn’t return: the double bed was covered only with a single sheet, so it couldn’t be tucked in and every time we moved we found ourselves lying directly on a plastic mattress protector that I imagine many many people had lain on before us; the kitchen light wasn’t working and apparently the globe couldn’t be changed during the 6 nights we were there; the windows were very obviously filthy which gave the whole place a dirty feel, although the rest seemed OK

Awesome little apartment.
Was a great apartment to stay in for the weekend. Suited myself, partner and a friend perfectly with the two beds. Amazing location and great cleanliness/utilities. Communication could have been better prior to our stay but overall would absolutely recommend.

The whole experience was great, Dexter answered all my questions in a timely manner. Check in was easy and so was check out. The room and beds were comfy and clean. Nice place to stay. Close to trams and train.

My friend & I are in our 60's and booked this apartment from 24/10 to 6/11. On 21/10 we were advised we could not stay on 24/10 due to property maintenance, the landlord arranged a hotel close to the apartment which was perfectly acceptable. The apartment is part of a large block some privately owned (this is) and others part of a hotel It is in an excellent location close to Southern Cross Station. The apartment is small so please bear in mind if you plan to spend a lot of time there. The first problem we encountered was the WiFi didn't work.After 4 days of messaging and supplying of wall adaptors we ended up using the hotel WiFi which the owner supplied us.It was not secure so could only use for browsing and reading. The TV did not work either but we did not make much of this as we do not watch much TV whilst on holiday. During our stay a small bloodstain appeared on a bedsheets the size of a thumbprint, I'd had a slight nick on my leg which led to this -we could not wash this as we did not have any spare sheets. I'm sure a good wash would have got of it. However the day after we left the owner contacted me regarding this and I explained the situation. Later I was advised we were being charged 40AUS dollars for this and another 100 AUS dollars for a 60 x 30cm grey stain on a desk I advised we never used the desk apart from to put papers on and some valuables at night. As normal we had vacuumed the apartment and cleaned all the surfaces before we left and did not notice any stain. My credit card has now been charged with 140 Australian dollars which I find unacceptable. I have used Vrbo for over 5 years and rented apartments in South Africa, Australia twice, the Caribbean, Portugal and numerous places in the UK and never encountered such a unilateral action by an owner. This explains the low rating I have given
