Arrived and there were still dishes in the dish washer, the dryer was completely full. We were informed the place was cleaned before we arrived, and the ceiling still had massive cobwebs, the vents were extremely dusty, the garbage can was disgusting, the barbecue looks like it has NEVER been cleaned and almost caught fire. When we booked we were informed there were two bidets, which was not the case. The downstairs bidet was broken (we had to get this information by reaching out to the owner when the bidet immediately started spraying towards an electrical socket) and we were then down to one working bathroom. You couldn’t flush the toilet and then wash your hands as the water pressure COMPLETELY depleted. If you wanted to shower you couldn’t flush the toilet for at least 30 minutes prior. The outdoor hose had more pressure than any of the sinks. The house ONLY had plates and some utensils, no basics like salt or pepper, garbage bags, recycling bags, hand towels in bathrooms. ZERO spare toilet paper or Kleenex. The listing had amenities as ‘hot tub’ which this cottage does not have, they list spices which is also inaccurate. They do not have garage parking, as it is where they hold their own personal storage. The cottage is not lake front, but you can see the lake across the street from the deck as there is another cottage directly in front of this one. The ‘beach’ is barely a boat launch at the end of the road, not any more space to put one or two towels down.
