Woodlands Holiday Retreat

Woodlands park is a 180 acre picturesque and private farm located 10 minutes from Bowral and Mittagong.

The farm operates as a horse stud and is famous for its replica TPC Sawgrass golf green so anyone that has a love of golf has access to this private four tee course.

The stunning outlook of rolling hills and uninterrupted views is one in a million, feel like you are miles from anywhere. Acting as a working farm you have access to fresh eggs and vegetables from the chicken coop and veggie patch, a great novelty for children.

The north facing home includes 4 bedrooms all with en-suite. Master bedroom features large spa bath & private gas fire. Each bedroom has an outlook over the property with ample natural light. The house has plenty of entertaining areas including a media room & formal lounge. The house boasts a large modern country kitchen accompanied with marble island, custom dining table, double fridges and wine fridges so storage is never an issue - it really is an entertainers dream.

A multipurpose sunroom is a beautiful feature all year round with a unique indoor and fully equipped barbecue area which allows you to host in any weather condition, along with media and Sonos to accompany any occasion. The sunroom layout features a 10 seat custom dining table and comfy lounge so really is somewhere that is great for all occasions.

The house is fitted with the finest quality Miele touch screen ovens and steamers with a multi burner Highlands cook top. Sonos is available in majority of rooms, simply activated by the touch of an app. Plasma TVs in every room with Smart Apps and Foxtel in two entertaining rooms plus the master bedroomd.

The formal gardens and an Italian inspired outdoor dining area which is great for hosting a long lunch or an evening meal with lighting throughout the gardens. Down a pebble path you have access to an outdoor fire pit and barbecue area with rock features, it is an exceptional entertaining area.

With Bendooley Estate, Artemis cellar door, Peppergreen Estate and Centennial Winery all in under 10 minutes away you really are spoilt for choice. The Southern Highlands is a foodie hub with some of the most desired restaurants, country pubs and boutiques all under 15 minutes away there is simply something for all.

Photos did not do the property justice!

We picked Woodlands because of the beautiful pics...However, entering the property and arriving over the undulating hills and then into the house took our breath away! The house and amenities are pristine and surrounding horse stables seriously was next level. We are a family of six with teenagers and none of us could fault our stay. Highly recommend and we are thinking of going back in winter to enjoy the out door fire pit! :)

A luxurious peaceful retreat

A group of 4 friends enjoyed a fabulous stay at Woodlands. Immaculately presented, both within the house and throughout the extensive grounds, there is really no improvement we could suggest. The beds were heavenly and the well resourced kitchen made home cooking a pleasure. The proximity to the treasures of Bowral and surrounding vineyards an added bonus. Highly recommended.

Wonderful stay in the countryside

Amazing location, house and scenery. The house is equipped with everything you could possibly need. The host was great with communication. What a wonderful long weekend away.

Incredible property, perfect stay!

The location can’t be faulted, less than 10 mins drive from Mittagong and just over that to Bowral, on a gorgeous piece of land. The house itself was just stunning. Spacious rooms and plenty of breakout spaces, huge kitchen and dining table and the outlook over the farm was amazing. Very easy check in and check out process too. 10/10 would stay again!

Wonderful country retreat

Fabulous country estate and beautifully appointed country home. Spacious bedrooms and living areas . All the modern comforts you would need. Beautifully maintained grounds and even a replica of the famous TPC Sawgrass 17th hole. We would love to stay again and highly recommend Woodlands for a luxury Sourhetn Highlands retreat.

Just stunning

We absolutely loved staying at the beautiful property. The house was stunning. Comfortable lounges and beds, well equipped kitchen. The sunroom was a stunning place to enjoy Easter lunch. The family made great use of the golf green and we enjoyed walking around seeing the horses. It was close to pop over to Bowral, Berrima, Mittagong for supplies and a browse through shops. After five nights we all felt really well rested and relaxed. Couldn’t recommend this highly enough!

We loved, loved, loved this house and surrounds. It was great to hear all the animal life in the background. The perfect holiday! Craig, the owner, was very accomodating. Highly recommended!

Perfect Getaway

Perfect place for a getaway with friends. The golf green was a big hit. Beautiful property, lovely bedrooms, all with ensuite, so no need to toss a coin to see who gets the 'good' bedroom. Great location, close to wineries and restaurants.

Beautiful, peaceful property in an excellent location!

The layout of the house enabled my family to come together while ensuring we all had our own space as each room had its own amenities as well as a door on to the wonderful grounds. The view from each room is lovely whilst the rooms itself are very cozy! As animal lovers, we were thrilled to be surrounded by horses, a couple of dogs and chickens which provided fresh eggs each morning. Perhaps one of the highlights is the private golf green- my dad is an avid golfer so he was delighted to have access to this. Thanks Woodlands for providing a perfect place for me to reunite with my family after almost 3yrs! We hope to make this an annual trip.

The most wonderful experience

We had the most magical stay at Woodlands. The farm is located in the most beautiful countryside. The house is total luxury with all the bells and whistles and the animals are the most wonderful addition for the children. We loved it so much and are keen to book again for next year. I 100% recommend a stay at this incredible incredible property.

Perfect Retreat

Beautiful property that provided ample room for 4 couples to enjoy each others' company in multiple common areas whilst having the benefit of private bedroom and ensuite facilities. We loved everything!

Wonderful stay in the Southern Highlands
