Exec WFH ready, located just steps from Melbourne's prettiest parks, this spacious 1 bedroom Art Deco era apartment has beautiful original features making it the perfect antidote for those fed up with soulless modern boxes. Sleeping up to 4 between the main bedroom queen bed and the queen size sofa bed, guests can enjoy this professionally-managed, restful and comfortable apartment on the edge of Albert Park whilst being just 13 minutes' tram ride from the city centre. Set in a 1930's period building, this ground floor corner apartment set at the back of the building, away from busy Queens Road, is bright with plenty of space to stretch out and relax. The living room features an over-sized sofa and ottoman; the sofa also functions as an optional metal-action pull-out queen size sofa bed (standard booking is based on 2 sharing the main bed). Heating is supplied by a gas fire which helps keep the room snug on those cold winter days.
The bedroom features a queen size bed with a large mirror-fronted wardrobe giving guests plenty of hanging and storage space. The bedroom also has its own tv with smart tv functions so you can stream your favourite shows. There is a panel wall heater for warmth in the winter and blackout blinds and curtains.
The large kitchen has all things you'd expect to make cooking in your home away from home easy and enjoyable. There is a large fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and a Nespresso-compatible coffee machine. The kitchen has a small table with seating for two if you wish to breakfast in the kitchen or chat whilst dinner is being made. The apartment has its own laundry with a sink and combined washer dryer.
There is also free wifi for guest use and a desk, 24" widescreen monitor, USB/bluetooth keyboard/mouse, plus multiple HDMI connectors/convertors to attach your laptop to the monitor. There is also a colour inkjet printer for guest use.
The bathroom has a rainfall shower over the bath and heat lamps on the ceiling for those colder days.
Street parking is limited, time-restriced and available on a first come first served basis in the area and there is no allocated parking space for the apartment.
The nearest tram stop is located less than two minutes' walk away and will take you straight into the heart of the city in under 15 minutes. With such easy public transport connectivity, most guests will not need to use a car to explore the sites of Melbourne.
