The Neighborhood:
The location is unbeatable. Sydney Harbour and the stunning Boy Charlton outdoor swimming pool to the North. The Botanic Gardens, Opera House and Harbour Bridge a short (and stunning) stroll to the West. Uber trendy Darlinghurst and Hyde Park to the South. Artsy, uber eclectic, Potts Point and Elizabeth Bay to the East. The Finger Wharf is hugely popular with Sydneysiders and widely regarded as one of, if not, the best location in the whole of Sydney and this apartment is one of the best apartments in the entire building. You may even get lucky and spot Russell Crowe, who is lives in the building and has a yacht just in front of the apartment.
My apartment is situated on the well known Finger Wharf in Woolloomooloo.
A landmark and heritage building, constructed in 1915, the Finger Wharf is the longest timber piled structure in the world. It is 400 metres (1,310 ft) long and 63 m (210 ft) wide and stands on 3,600 piles.
The Sydney Harbour Trust built the Finger Wharf, or Woolloomooloo Wharf, between 1911 and 1915. Woolloomooloo's commerce was dominated by shipping at the wharf and by the regular influx of sailors and officers. Nowadays, its views and location have made it home to celebrities, film stars and billionaires.
It is close approximation to the Botanic Garden, Hyde Park, the CBD, Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Everything is in walking distance and will make Sydney even more accessible for you.
Getting Around:
Designated car park included. Bus stop directly across road, Kings Cross train station a short walk away.
Sydney's iconic sites are all within walking distance of the apartment. Sydney's beaches are quick and easy to get to. Bondi junction is just 2 stops from the nearby train station.
Other Things to Note:
Before check-in, all guests are required to complete a security verification process, which includes uploading a valid photo ID and a selfie to confirm booking details. For the home owners security, only guests who are listed on the security form are allowed access to the property.
Australia is a tropical country, from time to time you may see bugs, spiders and insects, mostly harmless. We don't accept cancellations on the above but are at your disposal should you need any assistance. We regularly fumigate the property to prevent unwanted pests.
There is also a building boom going on through out Sydney we don't refund for construction noise if anything is going on in the neighbourhood however if there is works being done next door or in the same building we will have a note in our summary.
Vaping is strictly prohibited within the unit. Fire detectors are sensitive and may be triggered by vapour. Any fire brigade call-out fees resulting from vaping will be charged to the guest. Lost keys or keys not returned to the lockbox is a call out fee of $350. And $1000 for smoking.

What a place
Stayed here for 10 days and the location was amazing. It’s such a cool property that’s honestly undersold in the listing! It was clean and quiet, within walking distance to so many places we wanted to see. Highly recommend!

Great apartment great location
Nice spot for two people. Full kitchen private deck with harbor view. Very unique location out on finger wharf. Great pool and fitness center. Easy walk to a variety of restaurants. Short walk to botanical garden and opera house beyond.

It is extremely relaxing apartment with a balcony above the wharf. Had breakfast on the balcony each morning. Easy walkable access to the park and central Sydney.
Well equipped and comfortable settee and bed.
