New House with New Furniture, Close to Niagara falls and all major amenities. approx 17 mins to Niagara falls, 2 minutes to bus stops and highway. 5 minutes to all major groceries and restaurtants. Family Friendly, Large Spacious property. Very Peaceful and quiet place. Property is facing a park and lots of windows and sunlight etc. 5 spacious Bedrooms, ( with 5 Queen Size Beds). 2.5 Bathrooms. 5th Bedroom is conveniently located on the MAIN floor for easy access.
Great spot for family get aways and vacations.

The house is large and well located, but several disappointing points:-No dishwasher and no dishcloths to dry the dishes, only a cloth for hands and another one to clean the counter/table. -No sheets in the nefs. Only the fitted sheet and a bedspread... Hoping that the bedspread is washed between each stay...-Interesting games room but the ping pong and billiard table are not in good condition.-The ground floor bedroom has no door so no privacy. -Broken bed in the ground floor bedroom, we had to put the mattress on the floor. The base is broken and repairs appear to have been made but without success. -When I contacted the owner to mention the problems, he responded after several hours, but without resolving the situation. -There is a lack of cooking utensils, no wine glass.

This rental is a great home base for trips to Niagara Falls, St. Catherine's, Niagara on the Lake, and all of the nearby attractions and wineries. There's a neighborhood park nearby with basketball court, and plenty of parking. The house is situated conveniently close to the highway and to Walmart, where we were able to purchase the basics for our stay. The kids loved the ping pong table downstairs. The owner had great communication, and had someone out to the house the very next day when we needed help with the AC. They were also extremely gracious when my kids got a bit overzealous when packing and we ended up taking two of their pillows home with us. A couple things to be aware of - first, the main level bedroom does not have a door, and is open to the foyer and living area, so it's not a super private or quiet location to sleep. Second, the neighborhood is an active construction site, with many of the home sites vacant. we felt completely safe while there, but just a heads up. The house looks like an attached home in the photos, but it's not attached to any of the surrounding homes, so you don't need to worry about noise from neighbors. All in all, it was a great basic home-away-from-home for our adventures. Highly recommend MT Bellies in Welland; it was a huge hit with our group.

Pros: large house in new subdivision, close to major highway about 20 min from Niagara Falls and same distance to Niagara on the Lake. Bedrooms were good sized and bathrooms upstairs were bigCons: downstairs bedroom needs a door/screen as it was open to the living room. Furniture in the living room was cheap and unconfortable, large master could have used 2 chairs for a sitting area. Needs better blinds to keep out the light from the bedrooms

The house was really nice and the location but there were a few things that were not up to standard:The bathrooms were dirty. The shower curtains and liners were soiled and we had to replace them.The beds were too hard. It felt like you were sleeping on a box spring; no support at all.

Disappointed

Beautiful home in great location, but many faults:1) Home not cleaned - had to go buy cleaning supplies to clean bathrooms 2) Beddings not washed - had to wash all beddings when we arrived3) Beds broken - all 5 beds had slats were broken, had to place mattress on the floor4) No dressers or drawers in any one of the bedrooms. Only beds with broken slats and small tables with no drawers.5) Dollar Tree shower curtains that were ripped6) Only one TV in the entire house7) No response from owner after several messages8) Someone entered the garage while we were not in the house to remove garbage without notifying us. Made us feel uncomfortable, since there is access to the entire house through the garage.9) Could use better kitchen pots and pans10) Window coverings do not close appropriately. We bought clips for chip bags and used those to keep curtains closed for privacy at night.11) Checked out one day early and stayed at a hotel to get a good night sleep (in good beds) before a long day of traveling.Positive:1) Property manager responded quickly and offered support 2) Large home with a lot of room3) Great game room in the unfinished basement4) Great location5) Great neighbors6) Close to a Walmart7) Easy Check-inThis is the first time we've had to leave a negative review on a VRBO property. Hopefully, it will give the owner an opportunity to improve for future guests. The house is beautiful, just needs better furnishings and a better maintenance crew.

Not as I hoped for

The house is very pretty but furnishings were sparse especially in the bedrooms. I am not sure who cleans but they are not doing a good job. Rooms on its floor covered with dust. Bathtub in master wasn’t clean at all. Beds were so uncomfortable that I purchased a foam topper to sleep on. Towels were few. I also had to buy trash bags for kitchen there were. Only small ones. We never got the TV down so that was frustrating and no instructions were provided. It could be a wonderful place with some attention to detail.

Great place to stay with family

We came to visit family from out of town and really enjoyed staying in this beautiful home. It allowed our 2 families to have a place to unwind and spend time together between visiting family and the children all loved all the activities in the basement. Highly recommend. A wonderful home away from home.

Good trip

The house was clean and ready to go when we arrived. I have rented from Vrbo numerous times and have found that when the owners leave a book with information and things expected of me helps a lot. We were not sure what day was trash day and did not have the appropriate bags to separate the recyclable stuff. When renting for a large group some better pots and pans would have been good. My biggest complaint was that there were no washcloths at all. Dish towels were very limited. The neighborhood was quiet and all well maintained. There is a Walmart about 2 miles away which made it very convenient. Any Americans looking to rent this place or any place in Canada, get ready to be shocked at alcohol prices. We did have one episode which was quite unfortunate. The wind was blowing so strong, it caught a window in the bedroom that was cracked open and shattered the glass. We texted the owner right away, who replied within 10 minutes. He was not able to get someone to come and clean up and cover the opening for a few hours but it happened on a Sunday afternoon. Totally understandable. Overall this one of my best trips where we rented from Vrbo. Would definitely recommend this house and the owner.
