The house is even more charming than the photos. It is beautifully decorated including original, local art. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was very well equipped, and there were thoughtful touches throughout. We loved that there are both large rooms for everyone to congregate and cozy spaces to break away - perfect for a large group. The sun room & deck were lovely for breakfast. The neighborhood was quiet, conveniently located, and walkable. The host was friendly & communicative. Staying at Clifton House totally elevated our weekend getaway!

We were a group of 10 (6 adults 4 kids) and this was an excellent place to be. It provided room for everyone and places to have quiet time when it was needed. You could not find another place that is so well furnished with everything imaginable that you would need. We had one issue and the host responded quickly and then did a follow up call later. We had local visitors come by and they were equally impressed and would indicated that they would recommend this place to their future visitors.

Wow! We highly recommend Clifton House! The house was stocked with everything you could imagine for a little getaway vacation. Out host Marie was amazing and quick to respond. The kitchen has every appliance you could think of, and is perfect for a large group setting. The beds were all comfortable and lots of couches and sitting areas. The surround sound on the entertainment area was epic! There were extra soft, cozy blankets right down to our own personal housecoats and little ‘packaged slippers’. The house is located about 15 minutes walking distance from downtown. I have already told a few people about this place, so if you need a perfect weekend away, book quickly! Lol

It sounds like you made the most of the space (the upstairs games and long table are always favourites!), and I love hearing there was lots of laughter. We’re really happy the home, location, and little touches like the robes helped make your stay comfortable. You were wonderful guests, and we’d absolutely love to host you all again anytime. Thanks again for choosing Clifton House!

Clifton House is the most beautiful and well stocked vacation home that I have ever stayed in!!From the time of booking, Marie was easy to communicate with and replied to every message promptly. Marie and her husband checked in with us during our stay and let us know we could message at anytime with questions. We were a group of eight on a girlfriends getaway and found the home to be incredibly spacious and immaculate. It is obvious that each room has been restored, designed and decorated with great care and attention to detail. The light fixtures, furniture, lamps, art work, pillows etc all made the home stunning and so inviting! The dining room with its massive table was perfect for meals, conversation and games. The media area upstairs was another favourite gathering place. All of the beds were very comfortable. No detail has been left out when stocking this home - everything you might need was there (and more). Clifton House provided an amazing experience and location for our getaway and we will not hesitate to book again!

Huge fantastic character home that impressed our entire family. It had enough room for all of us! We never worried about running out of anything. It was well-stocked with little extras we weren't expecting at all! Our family loves the movies Clue and Murder by Death so this house made us sooooo happy. It gave us those vibes. Check in was easy. The house was clean. The bathrooms and kitchen were updated and stylish. There were many seating areas so we had lots of space to spread out if we needed to. The two bedrooms upstairs had their own heating with remote controls. We didn't spend a lot of time there so we never got to use the projector and have a movie night but it was a great room for it. The hosts Marie and Alain were wonderful to deal with. If we need a house for our large group again we will definitely book there again.

Thank you so much for your incredibly thoughtful review—it truly means a lot to us. We’re so happy to hear that the house worked well for your whole family and that you enjoyed the character, space, and little extras. The Clue and Murder by Death vibes is one of our favourite compliments yet! It’s great to know you found everything comfortable, well-stocked, and easy from check-in to your stay. Hopefully next time you’ll get to enjoy a movie night with the projector too! You were a pleasure to host, and we’d absolutely love to welcome you and your family back anytime.
