Das Bett im unteren Schlafzimmer war leider sehr laut, es hat bei jeder Bewegung geknarzt, so laut, dass wir sogar davon aufgewacht sind... sonst absolut top.

I enjoyed my stay. We did lose the AC for a couple of hours but communication was excellent and issue resolved same day. Unit definitely can use upgraded furniture BUT for the overall cost I would stay again. You get what you pay for. Close to everything and yes noisy...but being from NYC felt normal. Thank you guys!

Great Location, Beautifull apartment but needs updating. Shower valve needs replacement only HOT or COLD no warm. Upstairs flooring needs replacement, think it had water damage. Bedroom bed frame hand made from CCA Green wood, LOL.. Clothes washer out of service. No space for cloths, no dressers or anything just one small spot to hang few things. Couch is nasty needs replacement.

The property itself was beautiful and in such a great location! We were walking distance from everything. The agency was very responsive to all of our needs. Only downside is we did not have any hot water during our entire stay. We were told to let the water run for 15-20 mins but even then the water was still cold. Also the door to enter the unit needed to be pulled and jiggled in order for it to unlock so we struggled getting in. Otherwise the property was great and if this problems were fixed I would definitely stay here again!

Positives: The location is great! The balcony is also really nice to have. Customer service is good- we asked for more toilet paper and a clean sponge on our second day, and they gave it to us no questions asked. A/C worked great. Negatives: The apartment has almost no sound insulation. We were kept up until at least midnight by people coming back from their nights out, and we were woken up both mornings at 6AM by construction right outside. The windows don’t have curtains, and the string lights outside (while beautiful) mean that the room is never dark. Many of the furniture and appliances falling apart in some way. The bidet didn’t work, the kitchen sink looked like it had been smashed in, the headboard of the bed literally wasn’t attached to the frame, etc. The biggest issue to me was the cleanliness. This wasn’t the most dirty place I’ve ever stayed, but it wasn’t good. There was hair in the corners of the bathroom, behind the toilet, and in the shower. The trundle bed was severely stained, and the refrigerator was extremely dirty on the outside. There was one worn-out, dirty sponge to use for dishes. Some of the towels were still wet in the closet and smelled like mildew. The shower curtain was moldy. The level of cleanliness was just not acceptable for the price I paid (or any price, frankly.

Read all the fine print. This place did not have hot water at all. It was stone cold showers for thre days until we decided to leave. They claim the description states limited hit water due to old pipes, but the first day their response was “the city needs to come check it out” second day maintenance came and pretty much made us feel like we were crazy and stated a plumber needed to check it out. Third day they said it they disclosed the issue on their website. Bottom line, I can deal with low pressure and warm water, but not river cold water. BTW the stores and homes on the same street had plenty of warm/hit water.

Overall liked the property. It has an authenticity to it that can't be beat by hotels. The balconies were the cherry on top that allowed us to view the Fortaleza scene through the day, which was entertaining. I would certainly stay again. The only hiccups we encountered were fruit flies(?) thought the bathroom and kitchen. There's also limited power outlets in the bedroom, which made it hard to charge our phones while keeping them nearby for emergencies. I did move a small side-table to one room to try and accommodate, but it still had to be a little further. Another downside was parking. We walked a bit to find the lot ($3-5 a day depending on weekend and weekday rate) and garage nearby. It was hard to load up our bags since you end up blocking the whole main street when stopping to load and unload and people got inpatient. The lot however turned out great because we parked the car for days and it was safe. It also allowed us to see the entire area, vendors, etc during our car retrieval walks. The communication was great from the day we booked and throughout the trip. The onsite lady was very helpful and accommodating and provided us clean towels at some point while we were out on the town.

The property was in a great location. My family and I felt extremely safe the entire time. Communication was great. My only complaints were the spotting of roaches 2-3 times throughout the property and also the dampness and moldy smell within the property. For that reason I would not recommend.

The location is great. If you bring a car be aware of no parking, would have to locate parking on the street or pay. (Rented a car so I could travel outside of the island). My only issue was the water pressure in the shower was not good at all. The TV did not work either, not that I wanted to sit around and watch TV but would like to have it available. Overall this place is great. Gives you the PR living experience in the Old San Juan, and that's exactly what I wanted.

We really liked the location and were super excited to stay in Old San Juan for a few days but had no idea about “the stairs”. We had just come off of a 7 day cruise and had planned to stay but once we arrived, we saw “the stairs” and almost passed out. We have 4 pieces of luggage and there’s no elevator. Our room was on the top floor. We spoke to Omar (the manager) and decided we wouldn’t be able to stay. He was more than gracious and even refunded us our money for the 2 days we canceled. Under different circumstances, it would’ve been awesome but with no elevator and my bad back, we just couldn’t do it. I would definitely recommend this place for someone younger because the customer service was top notch but just not for us.

The property was located at ground zero for Instagram photos and a really good (and popular) gelato shop (Anita's). It makes it fun to sit on the balcony and people watch. This was all good but it was extremely noisy. The bed in our unit was literally over the speakers mounted to the ceiling in Anita's which is open until 1 am. The base from the music made it difficult to sleep. Also, the super noisy traffic (motor cycles doing burn outs/honking horns/ blaring car music) and crowds at that corner went most of the night. But, it is not the owner's fault and we heard that the authorities don't do anything about it in San Juan. As my husband put it, it only stopped when it rained or at about 3-4am. We aren't party poopers but it did get old. Otherwise, the location is superb. The unit is large. Unfortunately, we couldn't figure out how to get the TV working or the hot water in the shower. I sent an email but never got an answer during the 3 days we were there. We figured out the water and really didn't need the TV. Towels were nice and fluffy. Kitchen was missing some supplies but it was nice to have the washer/dryer that worked well. As long as you know this...it's great.

The property was exactly as described. It gets loud on weekends due to crowds. We like the location and balcony. Things we didn’t like, there was keyed lock on exterior door with only one key. So if somebody got up early and wanted to leave, the guest were locked inside, same if part of the party wanted to stay out late at night. The other thing is we stayed for 4 nights and didn’t have any extra toilet paper or garbage bags. Wifi was spotty and would not connect to aany of oyr laptops
