Verbesserungswürdig: Sauberkeit und Zustand der Unterkunft
The hotel was in a great location and looked really nice at first. It was clean any decently sized. The person greeting us was also very friendly. However the first thing you notice is an extremely strong smell of air refreshing spray. It didn’t take very long until we realized that this was to try to cover the smell of the mold. The smell of mold was especially bad by the bed. I could not sleep for both nights we stayed here and I would absolutely not recommend anyone staying in this room (number1). Especially for people with asthma, allergies or pregnant people this room can be dangerous. I saw comments from the hotel that they have had problems with mold in this room which makes it even more unbelievable to me that this room is still rented out to tourists.
We did request to change rooms, none were free and all we were offered was to have our room cleaned but that would not get rid of the mold. We didn’t even get an apology or anything else.
Please note that I am only able to write this about room number 1. The building in general looked really nice and maybe the other rooms are better.
