Come and stay in our clean, comfortable and well equipped holiday chalet in Sunbeach, California, Scratby, near Great Yarmouth located within a short walk to a dog & family friendly beach, close to local amenities.
Our freshly refurbished, south facing, 2 bed chalet sleeps 4 persons
The Kitchen is fully equipped with ceramic hob electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle, we provide cleaning products including washing up liquid and kitchen roll for our guests usage.
The open plan lounge/diner has 2 armchairs and 1 x 2 seater settee and dining table that seats 4.
We have 1 full size double and one twin bedroom, the bedrooms have wall mounted heaters for those chillier nights, there is a travel cot for those who need it, beds will be made up for your arrival but please note we do not provide bedding for the travel cot.
The bathroom is fitted with an electric shower over the bath.
The chalet is located within 400 yards of the beach and close to lovely cliff top walks - excellent for those of you who have 4 legged friends with you on holiday. On the site there is a bar, club house and indoor swimming pool (entrance fee applies).
We welcome well behaved dogs allowed at no extra charge!
Electricity is supplied by means of a £1 coin operated meter with the tariff being set by the site owner.
On site amenities include an indoor heated swimming pool (entrance fee applies ) open April- Sept, Club Oasis family entertainment venue(entrance fee applies), Dutchys Taven with live acts (family pub), restaurants, amusements , launderette and shops. There is a bus stop close by which will take you to Gt Yarmouth and local villages should you choose to leave the car at home. Also a short walk from the chalet is the California Tavern with traditional food and beer garden. In Scratby village there are tea rooms, gift shops, fish and chips and bakers. There is also a weekly car boot sale in the summer and a craft and farmers market once a month.
The seaside resorts of Hemsby and Great Yarmouth with its 15 miles of sandy beaches and its golden mile of attractions are only a short drive away from the holiday park. Attractions include:Sea Life Centre, Britainnia Pier and its entertainment, Joyland, The Pleasure Beach, Merrivale Model Village, Time and Tide Museum, plus many places to eat and shop!
Norfolk is famous for the Norfolk Broads. Enjoy a drive through the lovely Broadland villages or perhaps hire a boat for a few hours picnic cruise. Take a trip to a National Trust property or visit the charming seaside towns along the coast. For more culture and for good shopping Norwich is worth a visit.
