Booked property for spring break vacation from MI. Property owner never contacted me. I reached out multiple times through VRBO with no response. I finally called owner on day of check in with no answer. She texted back stating she’d call back. I had to reach out again asking for check-in details. At this time I was told the property was not available. We were left with no where to stay on the evening we arrived in Hilton Head. I had to contact VRBO and the property owner to get a refund. Owner stated she was not aware of the booking and that the listing had been marked as auto confirm booking. I’d advise anyone booking to contact the owner the next day for confirmation.
