Other places of interest close by are Afon Argoed Country Park, Margam Park and Kenfig pool and dunes. It is within easy reach of the M4 corridor for Swansea and the Gower Peninsula and Cardiff. The town of Bridgend is approximately 8 miles away and has an abundance of shops. For beach lovers, Porthcawl beach is great for a walk, or for those looking for water sports. Margam Park is perfect for the children and there is the fabulous Go Ape High Wire Forest Adventure around 13 miles away. Afan Forest Park is a 48-square mile forest and is ideal for mountain biking and hillwalking trails. Shop and pub 2 miles, restaurant 1 mile.
