This stunning semi-detached country home is the perfect escape for families, couples, or those looking for the perfect house in which to celebrate a special occasion! Downstairs the extremely spacious open-plan living room, dining room, and kitchen take over the entire ground floor space, with gorgeous bi-fold doors leading to the garden area which really brings the outside in. Large sofas and armchairs surround the wood burner and large TV, the huge dining table is the perfect place for family breakfasts or long evenings eating dinner and playing games, the kitchen comes well equipped, while upstairs each of the bedrooms features double beds and all of them come with their own en-suites and lovely views! Outside, the wonderful and large hot tub is the perfect place for relaxing whilst watching the sun go down, and there is a fabulous covered seating area looking over the hills beyond. The large garden is grassed and there are further seating areas on the other side of the parking area as well as a large area great for kids and dogs to run around and let off some steam!
The location is ideal for dog walking or simply taking in the wildlife and scenery, with much to enjoy within easy driving. There are many historic houses in the area, such as Montacute House and Gardens, and Forde Abbey and Gardens, or, guests can drive to Glastonbury Tor and walk to the top with some magnificent views of Somerset, call in Clarkes Village for some outlet bargains, head for a day out in Bath or visit Wells Cathedral. The Quantocks and Exmoor National Park are not far away and for a trip back in time, travel from Taunton along the West Somerset Steam Railway to Minehead. Going south, visit West Dorset and Devon, maybe spending a day or two exploring the World Heritage Jurassic coastal resorts of Sidmouth, Seaton, and Lyme Regis. The county town of Taunton is also well worth a visit, with its many shops, restaurants, and places of interest.
