Our cottage formerly known as Commoners Croft, Ben Ma Cree dates back several centuries and is steeped in history having once been in use as the toll-house regulating the passage of traffic from the harbour.
Enjoying wonderful views of the fishing harbour and across the sea to Ireland, with meticulous attention to detail we are sure Ben Ma Cree will have you returning time after time
This cosy four bedroomed cottage comfortably sleeps seven, has a shower room with toilet and a separate bathroom with bath, toilet and shower.
A fully equipped kitchen diner comes with a fridge freezer and dishwasher as well as a washing machine for your laundry. All pots, pans, crockery and utensils are provided. Patio doors lead out to outdoor furniture decked area with a BBQ
A spiral staircase leads from the kitchen diner to a well appointed lounge with dining for 8 and also benefits from a private balcony offering fabulous seaviews

This property is on two levels and offers private parking. Grassland occupies the side of the property making this a safe haven for children.
We provide a large game of Jenga where everyone can play together, there are fishing nets and buckets and spades for use whilst staying at the property

Very disappointed.

Loved the property, this was our 2nd visit - we were visiting family and as the family grows the accommodation needs to get bigger too. Great space, you don't feel as though you are on top of one another.

Lovely but needs a bit of tlc!

It's in a convenient location with a great view. Just the two of us so plenty of space but would be cramped if full. Hot water from a tank with no instructions. Use the "boost" dial to heat up the tank. A few things not working. The spiral staircase looks nice but is impractical when carrying food up from the kitchen. No place mats or tea towel. Washing machine but nowhere to dry! No welcome pack provided so make sure you have essentials like salt and pepper, milk, etc. We had no contact regarding arrival arrangements but noted the booking confirmation came from a local hotel, the Mount Stewart. We called there to ask and found they had the key. Would have been nice to know that in advance of arrival. For sale sign in window may explain lack of attention.

Disgusting from start to finish

No hot water .....house was disgusting filthy... frying pans rusty ... grill pan not cleans mouldy... dishwasher smelly dirty... bathroom flooded
