External Description

Villa la Corte is located near Greve in Chianti, in the splendid Chianti countryside.
Surrounded by 10 hectares of olive groves, vineyards and gardens, the property dates back to the 13th century and boasts a large veranda equipped with a dining table, from which you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Tuscan landscape.
Among the outdoor spaces you will also find a lounge area, ideal to relax while reading a book or sipping a glass of wine, and a suggestive stone-lined pool (14 x 4.2 x 2.3 m), with sunbeds and external shower.
Moreover at guests' disposal there is a private parking, a bowling green and a tennis court (Astroturf).

Internal Description

Internally furnished in an elegant and comfortable style, Villa la Corte is spread over 3 floors and can accommodate up to 11 people for a total of 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms.
Internet Wifi is available. Bedrooms have air conditioning. Pets are allowed on request.

Ground floor: The ground floor consists of: a fully equipped kitchen (with dishwasher, microwave, oven, refrigerator and dining table); a spacious dining room with wooden table; a living room with sofa and tv; a large billiard room. A toilet makes the rest of the floor.

Prices and conditions

Included in the price: Daily cleaning; utilities (gas, water, electricity); housekeeping service at guests' disposal; welcome dinner; cook service for dinners (the shopping service is not included therefore the cost of food and petrol are to be paid extra).

Excluded from the price: Other extra services on request. Tourist tax (the amount usually varies, depending on location, from €0,50 to €4.00 per person per night for a maximum of seven nights, excluding minors, and will be paid upon arrival).
First floor: The first floor is dedicated to the sleeping area divided as follows: 2 double bedrooms with ensuite bathroom; a twin bedroom (convertible into a double) with ensuite bathroom; 2 twin bedrooms (that can be converted into doubles). Following you will find a bathroom and a beautiful library.

Mezzanine floor: On this level there is a single bedroom with ensuite bathroom.

Very beautifil location

Only negative was that some of the furniture smelled a bit musty . Everything else was great

Luxurious yet welcoming villa

We were 10 adults (friends) rented this villa in June of 2023. The grounds are wonderfully kept and the pool/pool area is fantastic. We were greeted with a wonderful welcome dinner by Rafael and Marinela - a married couple who are caretakers of the villa. They prepared several evenings of multi-course meals for us - wonderful!! The villa had many books, artwork, and mementos collected by the owners. It was clear they were world travelers. The villa was cool and each bedroom's air-conditioner worked well. All bedrooms except one (the small one off the stairs) had air-conditioning. The villa itself kept quite cool due to the structure. The outdoor spaces were wonderful and had screens/curtains to protect from the sun. You will experience mosquitoes during dusk hours. You'll also see butterflies and bees zipping around the beautiful gardens and honeysuckle walls. I highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a relaxing Tuscany vibe!

The wonderful Chianti area is known worldwide for the prestigious wine to which it gives birth (the typical mark of the Gallo Nero), and for its evocative sceneries and charming villages which are along the “Via Chiantigiana”, from Greve to Gaiole, from Castellina to Radda.
