About the neighborhood.
The location is SW of Rome, halfway on the City-Airport (Fiumicino) route, it is a quiet, green residential area, even if the apartment is located 5 minutes (on foot) from Via del Trullo, a main street where you can find small shops, a nice typical local market with everything you need (food, butchers, fishfood and more), a discount supermarket, a 'normal' supermarket and (take a bus), a small shopping center . If you want a large shopping center you will have to take the city train, but I doubt that this will be interesting for you ... :-)
