CROWBOROUGH FARM by CROYDE HOLIDAYS - Quietly positioned down a private lane this impressive home is surrounded by beautiful and unspoilt scenery (50 acres) available to explore. This delightful farmhouse has been renovated and modernised to create a fabulous countryside getaway for a large group or family. Large open plan living space and kitchen suitable for cooking any culinary dish. The upper two floors boasts six bedrooms, with a huge master suite, four poster bed and en-suite bathroom.

For those days that are about exploring, feel free to walk the privately owned extensive farmland on site....what will you discover? The property is a mere 10 minute walk to two fantastic pubs in Georgeham, The Rock Inn and The Kings Arms. Further afield take a short drive to Croyde or Putsborough beach before returning back home to a nice hot shower in one of the several bathrooms before cosying up by the fire.

PROPERTY
GROUND FLOOR

Entrance porch space for coats and boots and Hall/Library fully stocked with plenty of books.

Grand open plan kitchen diner which is the main hub of the home, linking to two spacious lounge areas with a central double sided log burner. This large area is fantastic for entertaining, the kitchen houses two dishwashers, large range burner, microwave, fridge freezer, blender and is fully stocked to the brim of everything you could possibly need to cook any culinary dish for 14 guests. The dining area in the central portion houses a large oak wooden table with bench seating, the lounge area has 2 large corner sofas surrounding the LCD TV and log burner with French patio doors leading onto the rear garden. The other side of the log burner provides a cosy nook area with a sofa, board games and piano.

Spacious utility room with plenty of storage for wetsuits, surfboards and bikes. There is also two shower cubicles, washing machine, tumble dryer and a fridge.

Snug/7th bedroom perfect for quiet time with beautiful views overlooking the front garden, cosy chairs, sofa bed for occasional sleeping and workspace.

1ST FLOOR

- Master Bedroom Suite (Family Room) - Double four poster bed with fantastic garden views and two single beds perfect for children, walk in wardrobe and ensuite bathroom with bath, shower, W.C and washbasin.
- Bedroom Two - Low twin beds, bedside tables and chest of drawers.
- Bedroom Three - Double bedroom with garden views, chest of drawers and bedside table.
- Bedroom Four - Twin beds with bedside tables and large mirror fronted wardrobe

2ND FLOOR

- Bedroom Five - Double bed with bedside tables, full length mirror, work desk and chair with views over the garden.
- Bedroom Six - Double bed, book shelf, hanging storage, work desk and chair.


OUTSIDE SPACE

Enclosed rear garden with a large wooden table, sunshade and two sun loungers. Crowborough farm has ample outside space for guests to explore being situated within a 52 acre organic farm which is currently being managed as a rewilding project, there are plenty of walks surrounding the Farmhouse. A 5 minute walk from the property you will find Georgeham's playing field with play equipment to help keep the children entertained.

Great stay
We had a lovely stay great house for a large family, the only thing I would say is some of the beds need an upgrade especially those on the top floor. It overall it was fab great local pubs near by for good and drink.
