Great short break

Great for families with young children or older couples who want to get away from it. The weather was bad when we were there, but still made the most of it. Thinking would be magical on a warm summers day.

So lovely

Took a punt on this, not knowing the park or having stayed in one of the lodges. What a pleasure - so relaxing, lovely property with hot tub and indoor sauna. Owner on point and a fab stay. Would recommend for any couple or family, you wont be disappointed.

My aim for your stay at Oak Lodge is for you to enjoy it as much as I do and to exceed your expectations making sure you have the best possible holiday in Devon. My guests have been blown away by the tranquility of the setting, despite being just a short walk from all that Finlake resort has to offer.

Although I don’t live locally, I am just a phone call away to help with any queries you may have and by keeping in touch with you leading up to your stay at Oak Lodge I make sure that you have all the information you need before you set off for your relaxing break. I also have a housekeeping team on hand for any extras that you need during your stay.

Why they chose this property

When I first saw Oak Lodge, I fell in love with it and my family and I have had many relaxing stays there. My grandchildren love the water slides and the outdoor pool at Finlake Falls, and my daughters and I have spent many hours being pampered in the onsite Sirona Spa.

What makes this property unique

Guests love the fact that the hot tub is big enough for all the guests and the sauna is an added bonus to open the pores and let the heat relax your muscles.
All my guests are treated with a cream tea on arrival - it wouldn't be Devon without a cream tea!
Guests also comment on how peaceful it is - set in the woods, feeling like you're in the treetops, watching the squirrels on the decking, sitting in the hot tub at night and looking up at the stars. And yet, within a 5 minute walk, you have Finlake's indoor and outdoor pools, a state-of-the-art gym, and a luxury purpose-built spa facility, as well as The Retreat restaurant and an onsite cafe.
