VILLA MARINUS - WITH PRIVATE POOL AND STUNNING SEA VIEW

Villa Marinus is an enchanting villa of about 3,000 sqm, located in Corsano between "Guardiola" and "Funnuvojere" areas.

It can accommodate up to 10 guests and consists of the main house and an outbuilding, a private swimming pool and terraces with panoramic sea views overlooking the Adriatic coast.

The villa is equipped with a heating system and internet connection, it is suitable for the winter months and for remote working.


THE LOCATION

Villa Marinus is located on the Adriatic coast in the south of Salento, along the coast road sp. 358 Otranto - Leuca at about 3 km from the town of Corsano and about 13 km from Santa Maria di Leuca.

The wonderful sea view will offer a unique and unforgettable emotions, especially at dawn with the triumph of colors between the sky and the sea, and during clear days, when you can see the mountains of Albania and some Greek islands.

Furthermore, the surrounding environment makes the villa the right solution for relaxation and for naturalistic landscapes lovers. On the other hand, reaching the villa from the parking (on the coast road) won't be very comfortable because you have to walk about 100 meters to reach the entrance stairway.


THE LAYOUT

As previously mentioned, the villa consists of the main house, an outbuilding (with 2 independent bedrooms with bathroom) and a large private outdoor area.

The entrance to the villa is from the coast road, along a large stone staircase consisting of about 70 steps. The initial effort will soon be repaid by the wonderful view of the sea and the surrounding landscape.


MAIN HOUSE

The main house is about 75 square meters large, provided with air conditioning and furnishings.

The whole house is characterized by a sandblasted marble floor and is composed of:

- a living room furnished with sofa, fireplace, TV, and a beautiful view of the outdoor terrace and the sea;
- a complete and equipped kitchen, with induction hob and decorated with Vietri ceramics,
- two double bedrooms, air-conditioned with en-suite bathroom with shower and covered with hand-painted local ceramics.

DEPENDANCE

The elegant dependance is about 50 square meters large and it's composed of two double bedrooms (one has an additional bunk bed) with en-suite bathroom and sea view.

*The rooms in the dependance will be available in case of specific request or with more than four guests.


OUTDOOR SPACE - TERRACES, BARBECUE AREA AND PRIVATE SWIMMING POOL

The outdoor space will allow you to spend pleasant moments outdoors, and consists of:

- lounge terrace, shaded by a centuries-old Vallonea oak and furnished with a table, chairs and a small lounge, is the ideal place for breakfast, an aperitif or to relax;
- patio terrace, furnished with sofa, armchairs and chaise longue where you can sunbathe or sip a drink while enjoying the breathtaking view;
- outdoor patio furnished with a large dining table and chairs, with the nearby stone barbecue your dinners and outdoor grills will be fantastic;
- stone swimming pool with solarium area and sea view.

Finally, there is a comfortable outdoor shower and the laundry area consisting of a washing machine and dryer.

NEARBY

Villa Marinus is not far from the town of Corsano and overlooks the Otranto-Leuca coast road along the Adriatic Sea.

In particular, we suggest to visit the Ciolo bridge, one of the most photographed coves in Salento, located along the coast road about 5 km from the villa (home of the famous "Gibo'" luxury club and weddings).

For walking and trekking lovers we suggest some hiking trails, such as the "Vie del Sale", ancient roads that connect Corsano to the sea, and "Il Sentiero delle Cipolliane" , a suggestive path overlooking the sea about 3 km away, which connects the Marina di Novaglie to the Ciolo bridge.

In addition to hiking, other interesting activities can be practiced: in Marina di Novaglie it is possible to snorkel, to fish, scuba diving (to discover the beautiful seabed and clear waters of the Adriatic coast), boat tour (to visit the beautiful caves), and much more .

In the nearest town, Corsano (only 2 km away), you can find the main activities (grocery stores, pharmacy, petrol station, bank, gym, bakery, etc.).

Corsano, especially in the summer, is full of cultural and food events that will allow to know the Salento region in all its beauty.

Finally, from Villa Marinus it is possible to reach other interesting places such as Santa Maria di Leuca (about 13 km) or Castro (about 16 km) and the Ionian side with its sandy beaches (about 18 km).
