Gorgeous place with a fantastic host!
Our family recently had the pleasure of staying in Atlantic way cottage and it exceeded our expectations. Eimear was a wonderful host. Communication was fantastic and she was so welcoming. The house itself was amazing. Spacious, clean and comfortable with everything required for our family of 9 with thoughtful touches throughout. A short drive to get the Ferry to the Aran Islands, which we just loved. We would definitely return to this gorgeous little retreat! 5/5

Great place to stay
Eimear's cottage was even better than the photos! Really clean, welcoming & homely. It had everything we needed, including a great stock of firewood. The location itself was very peaceful and our kids really enjoyed exploring the garden. Eimear herself was a fantastic host and communication was flawless. The house is an easy drive to the harbour and would definitely recommend a day on Inisheer Island. The kids also loved collecting all the different coloured shells in Coral Strand beach. I highly recommend this Airbnb and hope to return.

Heaven in Connemara
We had an absolutely wonderful stay! We felt at home from the moment we arrived. The cottage itself is beautifully decorated, spacious and spotless. Our host Eimear was super helpful and very friendly. We especially liked the garden and the view from the patio in the evening. Our only regret is not making this wonderful home our base and staying longer. Can't recommend enough. Thank you!

Why they chose this property

The original house was built in the 1920's by my grandfather when he returned from the war and has recently been refurbished. You can see some of the old walls, a meter thick! There are four well-sized bedrooms and two bathrooms. The living room and dining room are open plan, with a small kitchen off the dining room. The fireplace is cozy and the beds are comfy. The house is surrounded by mature trees, so there is lots of space for the little ones to explore whilst you relax on the patio in the evenings. Have some porridge oats ready and friendly robins might come and say hello!
