The outdoor area provides a 3 acre garden, a swimming pool and a fantastic BBQ right next to the swimming pool along with a large shaded canopy area.

From the rear balcony you have views of the mountains and of Lake Kournas and from the front balcony you can catch a glimpse of the sea too.

The 3 bedrooms (2 bedrooms with double beds and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds) and a larger bathroom are located on the ground floor all with ample cupboard spaces and air conditioning in every room.

Upstairs you will find the living area with a spacious and comfortable sofa (which converts into a double bed), dining table, TV and fireplace. The kitchen is well appointed and is just off the living space and has views of Lake Kournas. There is also a small bathroom with a shower. There are two decent sized balconies with comfortable outdoor furniture perfect for lounging.

Villa Eirini is a 6 minute drive from the beachside town of Georgioupoli where you will find many supermarkets, restaurants and bars and anything else you might need during your stay. The closest beach to the villa is Georgioupoli Beach again, only a 6 minute drive away.

There are many Greek Tavernas in the area around Lake Kourna and in the village of Kournas itself. In the village I recommend Kali Kardia and Babis Taverna (both 9 minute drive) and closer to home on Lake Kournas my favourite is Taverna-Cafe Kavalos (3 minute drive). A few other recommendations in close proximity to the Villa are Bonatsa Greek and Cretan Cuisine (7 minutes), Taverna Pelagia’s Yard (6 minutes) and Vanilla Beach Bar (7 minutes).

Villa Eirini is a 28 minute drive to Rethymno and 42 minutes to Chania and 1 hour and 22 minutes from Heraklion.

The villa is perfectly situated to accommodate day trips to Chania old town and the beaches of Elafonissi, Falarsana and Balos.

Villa Eirini is a gated property and there is ample parking space to park at least 4 cars on the property and it could accommodate more if required.
