The property is ideally situated to enjoy Northumberland as well being only 18 miles from Newcastle city centre which is a great location for shopping, bars and restaurants.
22 miles from the Metro Centre, with a vast choice of retail.
Cramlington is 9.6 miles away and the Silverlink Retail Park is 15 miles away both with shops, restaurants and cinema.
The property has a bus stop across the road with regular buses out of town and to the main bus
station in the centre of town, Morpeth train station is 7 miles away.
Ashington itself has a proud history as a mining town and you can explore this at the local mining
museum just a short walk from the property. Woodhorn Colliery Museum is adjacent to a the QE2 Park with beautiful walks, The Lakeside bar and restaurant and an abundance of geese, swans and other birds to keep you company on your visit.
Ashington leisure centre has a 25-meter pool and learner pool, spar, badminton courts, gym and soft play.
There are local shops, supermarkets, bars and takeaways conveniently situated within walking
distance or a short drive towards the town center.
Wansbeck Riverside Park is an ideal location for a picnic only 2.6 miles from the property, there is a
café full of freshly baked cakes and lunches or drinks can be served to takeaway.
It’s ideal for children with a large outdoor play area or for dog walks (doggie ice cream is on sale).
