Cosy cottage with Aga, village centre, pet friendly, short walk to Ingleborough

Our lovely 2 bedroom cottage with wood burning stove offers a traditional feel with a modern twist, perfect for exploring the area or just to have a lovely relaxing stay. Along with the log burner you will find a smart TV, books and boardgames for your entertainment in the living room. In the kitchen (and utility area) you will find a beautiful Aga, table and chairs, microwave, washing machine, fridge, drying rail and everything you need for your stay including tea, coffee, sugar and a pint of milk. Upstairs there are two comfortable bedrooms one with a king size bed and one with a double and a modern shower room. The toilet is located downstairs as is often the case in quirky older properties. All fresh white bed linen and towels are provided. There is a small patio with pots.

The cottage is professionally cleaned to a high standard. Usual minimum booking 3 nights. Well behaved dogs are very welcome (please bring your dog's bedding and dishes. There is a strict policy please that dogs remain downstairs and off the furniture and there is a stairgate available to aid this. Thank you.). Smoking is not permitted.

Location
Marian cottage is conveniently located at the end of the village High Street and has on street parking readily available for free outside.

A perfect base to explore the gorgeous Yorkshire Dales, nearby Lake District and the Forest of Bowland. Great for the Three Peaks challenge, the foot of Ingleborough is just a short walk from the front door. Very popular with those who enjoying walking, hiking and cycling. The cottage is just a stones throw from local shops, pubs restaurants and bars. The Waterfall's Walk is close by and there is a gorgeous children's park. Guests love the amazing open air swimming pool (open in summer season-please check dates). There is a climbing wall in the village and an excellent BMX pump track in the village.
