About the host
Hosted by Alister Brown
We live about 40 miles away in Northumberland and enjoy the opportunity to visit Scotland and Kelso ourselves. The apartment is our only holiday home and we have recently completed refurbishing it largely ourselves. We have worked to make the place comfortable and somewhere we would like to stay ourselves. After the hard work we are excited to share the home with our guests and will be delighted if you enjoy your stay.

Why they chose this property
Kelso is a friendly, lively and historic town. We love it because there is usually some sort of event or activity going on and plenty to do and explore in walking distance It is also an ideal location for not only exploring the beautiful Scottish Borders, but also the English Border county of Northumberland and Cheviot Hills. The stunning Scottish and Northumbrian beaches and castles are also in easy reach.
What makes this property unique
The apartment is just a few steps from the historic market square and benefits from having its own private secure ground floor entrance and stairs. It is well equipped as a comfortable modern apartment, while retain much of its original 19th Century features. we have installed a wood burning stove in the living room so you can enjoy the cosy winter months.
Being centrally located the towns shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs are right on your door step.
