Host initially promised early check-in for a fee, under condition unit would be clean. However, upon arrival, the unit was not ready nor livable, its deplorable condition, dirty, messy, with a stench, and ants crawling around. The unit faced a railway line unbearably loud throughout the night. After spending 2hrs on the phone, it became evident that little could be resolved. Despite my plans being disrupted, I dropped off my luggage later than expected. To compound matters, the unit lacked ventilation and a fan, resulting in high humidity inside. When I inquired about a fan, Sunny suggested purchasing one myself as sympathy he will not charge me electricity. The host persistently called, demanding payment, even though the cleaning hadn't been completed. His tone was intimidating, implying repercussions if I wasn't satisfied with the subpar unit. Furthermore, he threatened to dispose of my belongings, claiming his associate possessed keys and he needed to cover bills. To save my vacation, I reluctantly deposited the requested amount into his mailbox, explicitly instructing him not to disturb me further. However, the host fabricated a new excuse, alleging that I retrieved the envelope I had supposedly dropped—a feat impossible with a one-way mailbox. He continued his threats, mentioning involving the authorities or sending individuals to forcibly remove my belongings.
