A Solar Eclipse and some Wine!!!!
We planned this for the Eclipse and it was perfect. The house was exactly what we were looking for. It was very clean and had information on local winery's. The beds were very comfortable. We had a great time.

Lovely farm house
Very neat and clean. The only negative was the traffic noise from the road.

Nephew's wedding
Perfect size for our group: 3 related couples in town for the wedding of a nephew. Closeness of the road was not an issue due to it being summer and we were running the room air conditioners and they provided sufficient white noise.

Fabulous
Family weekend getaway. The rooms all have queen or double beds. I thought one room would have 2 singles, but the couch is a pull out so it worked out. Communication with Sally was top notch! The location was perfect for us, the house was easy to find and access, property was clean and the bed I was in was very comfy. I would definitely stay here again!

Why they chose this property

Hi, my name is Sally K and I purchased a foreclosed house in 2014 in the town of Cambria, NY. My husband Jim and I made it our weekend project to restore it back to its original beauty as it once was back in 1920.  The inside has been completely restored and we will continue to restore the outside property as the year goes on. I had great joy in designing and shopping for this guest house and focused on keeping the ambiance of the home relaxing and fun. I didn't have to travel far to find my unique furnishings, as I have found many talented  women in Western New York who made this guest house complete.

You will see that my favorite color is purple and when I saw the original lavender tile in the bathroom, I knew that this was going to be my future guest house.  I haven't gone overboard but I have tastefully put purple throughout the house except in the bedrooms where I believe you need a calmer color which I chose a very pale yellow.  I have put a lot of thought into each of the rooms and hope whichever room you choose, it brings you happiness. You as my guest were part of every step of this journey, its all about appearance and comfort.

The name Wolf Ridge came from my passion of local history. The town of Cambria is the oldest town in Niagara County. The first town meeting was called back in 1808  and was about the over population of the wolves and their damages to the local farm animals. Ridge came from the road its on, which runs along with Niagara Escarpment from Lewiston to Rochester. Other nick names for this road have been the Million Dollar Highway and Honeymoon Trail. On another note of history, as I was reviewing the deed of all past owners I noticed my grandfather George Wanamaker was the closing attorney for one of the owners in the 1920's.

I would love to plan your itinerary for your stay and be sure your days are pack with exciting things to do and see. I have lived here for over 27 years and I keep up with what is going on all ye
