One of the most beautiful, modern and sought out vacation properties in Whistler- right on the slopes of Blackcomb with hotel quality ammenities and incredible views of the resort and surrounding mountains.

This penthouse has been tastefully styled with new furnishings and is the perfect place to relax, enjoy and make special memories with friends and family.

The Space:
This unique top and end unit penthouse offers endless slope side views of Whistler Blackcomb, with it's huge private deck and plenty of windows.
Inside you will find bright, comfortable living with beautiful modern touches in a newly renovated space. It has been professionally interior designed, with personal touches blending Canadian coziness and Australian style to make you feel both at home on vacation!
Being a top and end unit means maximum privacy, no loud neighbours, and no noisy feet from above.

WINTERTIME:
- Checkout the fresh powder while you enjoy breakfast overlooking the ski hill.
- Access the brand new Blackcomb 10-person gondola within a few seconds of heading out the door.
- Enjoy ski apres in the afternoon on the huge deck while watching skiers wiz past
- Soak in one of the three large hot tubs after a big day on the hill.
- Cozy up with a book by the fireplace.
- Then enjoy a peaceful sleep in the newly upholstered and extremely comfortable KING bed.
And while so many condos claim ski-in ski-out (when they are actually not at all), this truly is directly on the ski slope, that you could literally be skiing on the hill within a 60 seconds of closing the front door (check Whistler Blackcomb for winter skiing dates).
With the Aspens being arguably the best complex on Blackcomb mountain, and The Lookout being the Penthouse and largest one bedroom in the complex, multiple real estate agents have told us that this is the best ski-in ski-out condo in Whistler- come and experience your vacation here for yourself.

SUMMERTIME:
- Access local shops and restaurants, including the Fairmont and Four Seasons Hotel just steps away.
- Enjoy a fun round of 18-hole mini golf just a few minutes walk away at the bottom of the hill (see pics). Putters and golf provided on us- no need to rent!
- You will also enjoy within walking distance, a kids Adventure Zone and farmers markets throughout the summer in the Upper Village.
- BBQ available for use on your private deck overlooking the slope.
- Outside patio furniture to enjoy the views and space available May to October.
- Outdoor pool, perfect for relaxing by or cooling off after a big day exploring.
- Air conditioning system.
- Easy walk/ride to Lost Lake for parks, bike and hiking trails and swimming.
- Bike storage available in the building. No bikes allowed in the unit.
- Enjoy quick access to the new 10 person gondola being installed for the 2018-19 winter season.

Other UNIQUE features to this unit:
- Staircase literally outside the door that takes you directly to the hot tub/pool area and ski slope. You will LOVE this privacy and convenience.
- Largest square footage than any other 1 bedroom unit in this complex
- Marble tiled bathroom with dual showerheads
- One of the biggest slope-side private decks in Whistler. (perhaps the biggest?)

Regarding SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS and HOUSEKEEPING:
- In the bedroom is the king bed which sleeps two very spaciously
- In the living room is a chaise lounge which pulls out to a double bed which sleeps two. Additional memory foam topper is available for a softer sleep if desired. You will need to make the bed each night as it folds away and linens can easily be stashed during the day in the storage in the chaise lounge. Please never sleep directly on the couch- use the linens provided, as this protects the fabrics and also is sanitary for you.
- In the bedroom also is a corner couch which pulls out to a single bed. This fifth bed sleeps one. Please note this cannot be moved or removed from the bedroom. This will also need to be self made if required, but bedding is provided.
- You will be provided with enough bedding, towels and pillows for the number of guests.
- The price per night is for three people. An additional fee of $50CAD per day applies per extra guest.
- For stays over 7 nights, a mid week house keeping clean may be added to your booking for an additional $99CAD. This is to ensure the condo is kept clean and that you get fresh linens, towels, toilet paper, and kitchen essentials.
- If you would like house keeping daily or more frequently, this can be arranged for a fee of $99CAD per day.


PARKING
If you are using the underground parking you will need to purchase a parking ticket from the yellow machine located in the lobby entrance.
Park at the round-a-bout when you first arrive to get a parking ticket. Tickets are $17 per 24hour period.
Once purchased, drive down the parkade ramp and use the four digit code at the top of your parking ticket in the first machine on the left. This will open the gate which is just around the corner.
Please display the ticket clearly on your vehicle dashboard.
The parking entrance height is 2.05m (6’9”).
Visitor paid parking is also available. $17 per 24 hour period. Parking can also be purchase by the hour.
Luggage carts are available for use.

*ARRIVAL TIP*
Upon arrival, park out front in the round-a-about. Unload your skis/ bikes here to be left with free ski valet, paid bike valet, or the front desk. Proceed to collect a parking ticket from the lobby if you plan to use the parkade. Here you can unload the rest of your gear or you may find it easier to park first then you can unload down in the parkade and use the luggage carts to proceed to the unit.

Once you’re settled into the condo, park around stall 150-160 as this stairwell up takes you directly to the ski hill, pool and hot tubs, and to the front door of The Lookout Penthouse on the fourth floor.
If you don’t like stairs and wish to use the elevator, park anywhere.

Please note, every guest has a unique door code assigned to them for the duration of their stay, from 4pm the day of arrival until 10am the day of departure.
You do not need to stop at an offsite check-in location first- come directly to the unit at The Aspens- no need to 'check in' with the front desk either.
A day or two before your arrival date we will message you with your unique door code.

Overall The Lookout was excellent. Beautiful view and well maintained. The hallways etc in the property were clearly being renovated and will look so much better when completed. We had a wonderful vacation here and would def return.

We really enjoyed the Lookout Penthouse. It was clean, comfortable, well appointed, and a short walk/ski from the base of Blackcomb. It is a true ski in/ski out set-up where you are literally right next to the ski run and the ability to park under the building is a great benefit. Highly recommended!

Unobstructed Mountain and slope view
We chose this accommodation because of the huge outside deck (the best deck on the property) over the ski slope with a western view of the mountains. It did not disappoint with a huge black bear ambling along the slope just feet away from us four floors below while we were on the deck. The condo was neatly appointed and well equipped. We felt immersed in nature but, close to amenities.

Best Apartment In Whistler
Unbeatable location. Loved the views from the balcony and living room. Apartment is nicely remodeled. Bring your own oil for cooking if you plan on using the kitchen. The shower drain was pretty clogged, which was a little gross but for a two day stay wasn't a big deal and I'm sure they'll deal with it now that they know. We also didn't get the check in code until a couple hours before we arrived which added some unnecessary anxiety before our trip since we were already dealing with crossing a border and covid restrictions. Other than that, the place was great and I would definitely go back!

We really enjoyed our stay. A very unique property. Gorgeous balcony. Private. Very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Pool and hot tub were quite busy most of the time. So didn't end up using. Unit could use a few little things like paper towels, coffee/tea for guests - but it was an oversight / shortage of cleaning staff most likely. The owners were quite responsive and had good tips about eating out and so on. Would come back again! It's was a good find.

Overall our stay was fantastic and the owners are super helpful and made the trip easy for us. The condo is in an amazing location (slope side) and the deck is perfect with tons of space and a nice view! Only less than perfect comment to make would be that the supply of dishes, plates, glassware, and cooking items is a little dated and needs a refresh. No good wine glasses which would be nice to have. Barbecue is electric (slow to heat) and on the small side too. Small complaints really as it is hard to knock all the positives about this property!

We’ll be back!
The Lookout was the perfect unit for our family of four. We appreciated the cozy modern design and loved the location, view and hot tubs! It was stocked with everything we needed and had lots of storage for winter gear. The only thing we wish had been easier was the ski valet as it took 30-45 minutes to get our skis in the morning. We look forward to future stays at the Lookout!

Spectacular apartment in an OK development
We had an amazing 4 day stay over NY 2019/20. The Lookout Penthouse is simply stunning, with unparalleled views across the ski out into Blackcomb base and an easy and very short skate to the gondola. It’s difficult (if not impossible) to fault the apartment. Some of the common areas/experiences were less than awesomely managed though. The ski valet had a 20-30 minute wait, so we only used this once, managed by Whistler-Blackcomb, and one of the three hot tubs was not in use, with another closed for maintenance one afternoon at prime hot tub time, with the third offering very weak jets and over crowding! Again, the apartment itself is quite extraordinary, and communications with the owners/managers faultless, Aspens and WB provided some frustration however.

Heidi grew up on a rural property in the Adelaide Hills, Australia but moved to Whistler for her love of the outdoors and keen spirit for adventure. She works as a dentist who loves to snowboard, go downhill mountain biking, wakeboarding, hiking and camping, read a good novel, write letters, paint, and enjoy dinner parties with friends. But more than anything she loves to travel. Having been to over 40 countries her favourite places are Barcelona, Sweden, Cape Town, the Gold Coast, the Thai islands, Cuba, and London. But number one?- Minorca, Spain.

Kelvin grew up on a farm in Manitoba, Canada, and his passion for snowboarding lead him west to the mountains. He loves the outdoors and enjoys trail running, hiking, a good coffee or beer, competing in local fitness events, and sharing hospitality.
