Quiet Get-away
We were two senior couples looking for a few days in a cooler climate for fishing and relaxing. The lake is beautiful but fishing was not good so that was a disappointment. The log cabin was beautiful, freshly painted with new carpet, and immaculate. The bathrooms were tiny and one was downstairs where there were no bedrooms so inconvenient.

Cabin on the lake!
We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. It was so cozy and had everything we needed to enjoy the stay. Larry and Sandy made every effort to make sure we had what we needed. Would recommend highly!

Clean and Spacious
The cabin was very clean and spacious and worked well for our family of seven. Great space for cooking, bbq'ing and eating meals plenty of utencils and cook wear. The beds were clean and comfortable. The owners were very responsive (since they are adjacent to the cabin) and even lent us a kids waterski trainer for 2 days (Thank You) My one suggestion for future guests would be to bring old shoes or sandles to wear on the beach and in the water because of the rocks.

About the host

Hosted by Larry Carter

Host profile image
We have lived on the property since 1972 and there's no place else that we'd rather live. We raised our daughter and three sons here. They all live in Kalispell.
We have six grand daughters and two grand sons ranging from new born to thirteen years old. They all love to visit the lake and spend time with Opa and Oma. Summers at the lake are pretty special. The oldest two are certified bay sitters.

Why they chose this property

Our property has been in our family since about 1920. We are the third generation and can't imagine living anywhere else. This is what Montana is all about.

What makes this property unique

Imagine looking out the front door and seeing the lake on a full moon night. It's majestic.
