Fun, spacious place for a large family to stay on the lake. We had 3 families and my parents, and between the main house and the bunkhouse there was plenty of room for all.
A quick list of all we enjoyed:
-Everyone from kids to adults were able to wade into the water just outside the house without issue. Depth gently sloped to about 6 ft at the end of the dock, still deep enough to dock a pontoon.
-We cooked all our food on the stove, outdoor grill, and oven.
-Kayaks, paddle boards, paddles, and lifejackets were available.
-Less than half a mile out of the cove to water where you can fish, ski, or tube.
-There is a boat ramp at the RV park within a mile of the house.
-Satellite wifi to keep the teenagers entertained.
A few things to know:
-There were reasonable pans and utensils to cook with, but little in the way of seasoning, foil, etc.
-The refrigerator is big, but with a group like ours that's not enough for everything. We brought plenty of coolers, and there is ice available at the RV park a mile away.
-The lake was close to full when we were at the house. If it is more than a few feet low it might be an issue to dock big boats.
All in all it was a fun time, and we are already looking to plan another trip!
