Plan to spend a day canoeing or kayaking from the home's private dock. Experience an amazing sunset or listen to the call of a loon from one of the many decks overlooking the lake and Big Moose Mountain.

The master bedroom suite has a king-sized bed, large flatscreen TV and private bath with walk-in shower. Sip a glass of wine, tea or coffee on the private balcony, watch as the sun sets over the water and mountains or watch the Float Planes fly by.

You will find this home perfect for your family retreat or group getaway as it is made for entertaining on two levels yet roomy enough for privacy.

The main level has the kitchen with a beautiful slate sink and granite countertops, bar stools and a deck with a gas grill. The large dining room is appointed Maine elegant, has a gas log fireplace and deck with a gorgeous view.

On the lower level, you will find a great room with a Grand Fieldstone Fireplace, flatscreen satellite TV and a terrace out to the backyard and lake. There are also three additional bedrooms. One has a queen bed and the other has a bunk bed with a queen bed, trundle, and twin bunk.

This home boasts an in-town setting within walking distance to dining, shopping and local events yet is very private and peaceful. Play a game of croquette or badminton on the lawn, sit at the beach and read a book, sunbathe, swim or boat from the dock. Fish, snowmobile or snowshoe right from your doorstep. Nearby is Lily Bay State Park -- a perfect spot to picnic. Or maybe you'd enjoy hiking Squaw Mountain or a peak on the Appalachian Trail. Whatever your pleasure you will feel quite comfortable and right at home here on the lake.

Great property stayed last year and already booked for next.
Kitchen screen still broken same as last year. Not a huge issue. However refrigerator not working. Had to throw out a bunch of food. Reported first day and no attempt to repair, rectify or compensate was made.

Men's trip
Group of guys come up every year since 1996 to ride and ice fish. House was great for us and easy to ride out from. Wish the owner would get rid of TV's and dish and just update to a modern smart tv.

Great camp
Great camp on lower Moosehead. Very clean and comfortable. Easily can accommodate 5-8 people. Ice fished from the camp and caught a variety of fish.
