About this property

For a real simple vacation, book your stay at Reel Simple! This 2,500 square foot home adequately accommodates up to 12 guests with 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms.

The living area provides great views of the river, comfortable seating and lounge space for visiting, movie watching, games, and more, as well as a big cable/smart TV for your viewing pleasure. The kitchen is as big as Texas, complete with dining and cooking essentials, bar seating for 5 and dining seating for 6-8.

The master suite includes a king-size bed and deck access as well as an attached bath that features a garden tub and walk-in shower. The second bedroom includes a king-size bed and HDTV. The third bedroom includes a full bed as well as twin/double bunk beds. Around the corner, you'll find the second full bathroom. The fourth bedroom is perfect for the kids as it features 2 twin/queen beds and plenty of room for them to play.

Then there is the outdoors. Shady and cooler than you'd expect on those hot summer days! Deck space is abundant at Reel Simple. Take your pick of fun activities- grill and chill; cook s'mores on the firepit; relax in the hot tub overlooking the Guadalupe; swim, float, kayak or fish. The summer nights are cool and pleasant under the stars at Reel Simple. Now THIS is getting away from it all!.

A special place to relax and renew

The August scorching heat limited our time outdoors to the morning hours when we sat out on upper deck to enjoy the heavily shaded back, and the river, which surprisingly contained water at this location. So, spending most of the time indoors was just fine. The home is quite comfortable, and had all we needed to stay put and do some binge watching.

Reel Simple a a wonderful rental. The river view is beautiful with plenty of awesome deck space to hang out. The hot tub was relaxing. The inside of the home is clean, has a great layout for a big group, and access to streaming services was appreciated. The home location is close to the lake and other river access points as well as Gruene and New Braunfels. We truly relaxed and enjoyed ourselves. The only thing we were disappointed with was the fact that we could not use the kayaks. Pics of the home on VRBO show kayaks, so we made the mistake of assuming they were for guest use. Regardless, we had a wonderful time and would recommend staying at Reel Simple!

Wonderful time!

Our family had the most wonderful time @ Reel Simple. The house is absolutely beautiful and plenty of room for all of us. There were 11 of us, all adults and 1 toddler. If you are looking for a family gathering, this is your place. The outside decks were very nice as well. We spent time on each level and did a little fishing too.
